I've received great experience in all of my past visits to Tavolo. The staff makes me feel welcome and appreciated. The dishes served are creative and never lack flavor. The restaurant itself is located inside of the historic Philtower and the conservative decor reflects its character well. Reservations for the busy times are recommended.

I've only been there for the Friday lunch special ($8 lasagna), and I have enjoyed it every time. The lasagna varies from week-to-week, but Tavolo always seems to offer a high quality meal. The service has been a bit hit-or-miss, but I can cut them a little slack since they are usually very busy during the lunch crowd.

Cute Italian cafe, perfect place to get away from the bustle of the city. Excellent coffee, delicious food, great atmosphere, and friendly service.

Went in for lunch and sat at the counter. Service was chaotic, was told bread was on its way with oil/vinegar, got bread, no oil/vinegar. Ordered a ice tea, had to ask twice for it. Had the Pappardelle SanMar pasta, pasta was waay over done and sauce was over powering and bitter. Oil/vinegar finally showed up midway thru meal. I dont know where this guy got an award from but its NOT for cooking. Doubt this place has hope, save your tastbuds.

Linguine & mussels.  Fantastic.  Food is very good, staff is very nice.  I travel a bit, & I'm always looking for places like Tavolo. I was here last summer & the food/experience was exactly the same as tonight.  Run, don't walk, this is an excellent restaurant.  Ashley is great, stop in say hello.
