Just had dinner here with family and it was AMAZING! We ordered 3 starters of the Mango Crab Rangoons, omg super delicious! Very creamy!!!! Then we all ordered multiple dishes of sushi. The Beach, Snow White, Thriller, Hotel Cali and some others but W-O-W! Definitely get the Thriller, best sauce on a sushi roll ever and we get sushi a lot back home in Boston. The Coco Hydration non-alcoholic very refreshing, we had 2 Espresso Martinis and the Coconut Breezy, they apparently changed something different and added ginger beer replacing something else.
Motivate yourself to come and enjoy the maximum in cocktails and a variety of sushi that will leave you speechless. Come take advantage of happy hour. the restaurant fills up but they don't forget about you. I recommend it 100%
This is by far one of the best sushi experiences I have ever had. If you go you MUST ask for Jocelyn! She is amazing and fantastic. She recommended 3 different things which all were amazing. I have never had sake so she recommended a sample and it was really yummy. We will be forever customers for the food and regulars of Jocelyns!
Had a great time, they have good sushi. It was crowded there so it must be popular, they have a nice selection of rolls. I give it 4 cause I thought that the cleanliness could be a little better and the way the cooks handle the transition to the servers needs some improvement. But over all I would recommend.
Impressive vegan options! What Almost everything! I got the charred edamame from checking in with yelp! I also got the vegan tuna tower, and 2 rolls Cowgirl and Unami maki. Very impresses by the vegan options, all the stars for vegan options! The charred edamame was overly salted and i felt I was eating straight up salt after a bit, I love the charred to it, though it gave me the burnt fingers... The tower and the rolls were really good, my only complain is that the rice was not that great. It was overcooked.. and also like a cake...Not sure how to describe it fully but it wasn't nice sushi rice. Environment Very nice environment with sushi bar seating on one side and a bar seating on the other side. There are also a number of regular seats available. Very nicely decorated. Niceness of the staff I went alone and sat at the sushi bar. The staff was very friendly, patient and attentive. I was able to use the Yelp check in for a free edamame! Dollar It was sushi dollar, which can easily add up. I guess I was hungry and my tower, and 2 rolls came up to $30 something. Yes? Def would be interested in trying other items...
Great service!. The star of the show was the sushi tower- get it! I never remember the names of most rolls but I remember if they stand out and the one on the far side of my photo was really really good!
Great place! Love all the sushi we eat! Fancy cocktails!!! 100% recommend it! For sure will come back.Recommended dishesSushi
This was a first time visit and Noel was my wife and my server. First of all the atmosphere is astonishing in the typical Orientals decor, with lighted side tables and sofas to sit or use traditional table and chairs. Huge selection of wine and beer. My wife ordered the Crunchy LA Nigeri sushi , which was amazing and I ordered grilled chicken breast with rice and orient type of salad. All was very good, the server was great and the atmosphere was astonishing. Highly recommend you give a try in the hay market area of Lincoln, NE.
I went here a couple weeks ago and the sushi was delicious! My waitress was Mackenzie and she was such a sweetheart and made us feel right at home. The hospitality and professionalism we received from her and the rest of the staff will definitely bring us back here in the future!
It was my first time ever eating at Blue Sushi and the food was outstanding! I don't normally leave reviews, however, when it was time to pay for my meal I used a gift card and the server was pretty rude about the fact that I was using it. Her attitude dramatically changed from being super polite and kind to rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing, stomping around, and giving MAJOR attitude. She said to me and I quote..."Hope you know you can't leave a tip when you use a gift card." The tone was incredibly snotty and condescending. I had every intent of leaving a tip. In my opinion, if you plan to eat out, then you should plan to leave a tip and a good one at that. Servers work really hard and we need to appreciate their hard work and for just showing up. However, this snotty and condescending comment really embarrassed me and made me feel unwelcome. When I asked her what she said about the tip, she ignored my question and walked off. My meal was a total of $8.75 which was a nice surprise and my gift card was able to cover the whole amount. However, I was expecting my meal to be at least $15-20 so that I would need to use both the gift card and my debit card hence being able to leave a tip with my debit card. I totally understand that servers rely on tips and it is really disappointing when people leave bad tips or none at all. I felt so bad that I ended up driving to my bank withdrawing some cash and bringing the tip back to Blue Sushi. I wasn't able to give the tip directly to the server, but left it with the hostess and explained that I used a gift card to pay for my meal, didn't have any cash on me to leave a tip, and had to go to the bank to get some. The hostess was extremely kind about the situation. I truly hope that money made its way to the server. I was really looking forward to eating at Blue Sushi again, however, after this interaction and not feeling welcome, I don't think I will be returning... Major bummer!!
