Dr. Sosnin is a great doctor. Hes a DO not an MD. They get the same education but a DO takes a more holistic approach to patient care. He holds me accountable for my health as well. If you're not interested in taking an active role in being healthy, he is not the doctor for you. He doesn't treat medicine as the answer, just a tool. I have been to 4 different doctors since moving here. Before that I had the same doctor for 20 years. My health is important but i don't want to take medicine I don't need. Dr. Sosnin is an important part of my healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Sosnin is absolutely the BEST Primary Care Physician I've ever had in my 56+ years. Like Tony S said in his review, Dr. Sosnin is a DO not an MD. They get the same education but a DO takes a more holistic approach to patient care - something I greatly prefer and recommend. He will holds a patient accountable for his/her health and wants to see the patient taking an active role in being healthy. I've never met a doctor who shows so much genuine care and compassion for his/her patients. My health had been deteriorating for several years and I was close to multiple organ failure when I first met Dr. Sosnin. This doctor discovered the root cause and has me on the path to good health once again. I love how he first looks for true ways to treat symptoms, such as dietary and lifestyle changes, rather than simply prescribing meds to mask them. When he prescribes a med, you can be assured it is truly required. Like Tony S said, Dr. Sosnin doesn't treat medicine as the answer, just a tool. The staff at his Norton office is also fantastic. I genuinely feel extremely blessed to have found such a wonderful Primary Care facility. As for the 1 star review by Crobdillus 101 below, it sounds like his bipolar disorder was getting the best of him. I can assure you that Dr. Sosnin would not put a person out of the office unless he/she was acting like a complete imbecile. In short, you won't find a better PCP than Dr. Sosnin - period!

My visit to Dr. Sonin today was by far the worst doctor appointment experience in my life! When I made the appointment and talked to his staff, they specifically told me that he'd be able to prescribe me my meds for my bipolar depression and high blood pressure. Instead he told me after one of his assistants put me in their system, that he doesn't prescribe that and that his staff wasn't supposed to tell me that!!! I was so confused and then he told me to leave and then called to bardstown police department on me and said that I was complying a and I was being "disrespectful"! No Mr. Brian! You were disrespectful when you discriminated me for my health conditions and you calling the cops on me when I did nothing wrong was completely uncalled for!!! And the fact that you withheld information from me and the Nelson county Police department just shows you dishonest you truly are! You and or your staff, as nice as they were (unlike you!), should've told me that before y'all scheduled an appointment with me. And because of your dishonesty, not only did I waste gas that I barely even had to spare until tomorrow, but now I have to wait until December 19th to see a psychiatrist at communicare just to get what I need because you didn't tell me the truth in the first place!

The staff is nice here, and Dr. Sosnin actually seems genuinely concerned for his patients, he’s a nice man.

He takes his time and makes sure all needs of the patient are met. The wait times are well worth Due to the care each patient receives.
