Sadly put my cat down at Blue Pearl this weekend.  I didn't know what to expect.  things went very smoothly and the vets and staff were beyond compassionate.  Blue Pearl did not try to sell me additional services or anything like that.  The price was what I expected for the level of care and compassion that went into our experience.  If you are worried about the process call the facility and they will explain the procedure.  I was able to sit with my cat and say good bye while he was euthanized (which was tough but the right thing to do).  Very calm and quite situation.  I recommend, when the time comes, using Blue Pearl for this procedure.  My cats ashes are going to be spread in the memorial garden but Blue Pearl offers other ways to memorialize your pet.

We had a great experience at the blue pearl Tampa location.  The staff was very friendly and caring and they worked quickly to care for our dog, even though they were pretty busy.  The vet tech, I think his name was Chris B, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, so big shout-out to him. They were able to help us solve the problem very quickly, and our dog was feeling better in no time.  Thanks Blue Pearl!

This emergency hospital for pets has been so helpful. Everyone took great care of Blue in his final moments.  We were heart broken to learn his seizures may or may not be cured. We did not want to do any treatment, putting him through so much when his hind legs were already effected as if he were a stroke victim. He lived a good life, 11 years. We decided on cremation. Picked up Blue's remains yesterday. This place and all the staff presented us with more than we expected. The company they use for cremation is excellent. We received lovely poems, cards signed by everyone at Blue Pearl. A beautiful ceramic paw print was included and unexpected. Since Blue was initially our sons dog we will be giving the paw print to him. We have already given him Blue's collar and tag.

Blue Pearl is an awesome hospital with compassionate specialty doctors and staff. My wife and I were referred to Blue Pearl as our doggy was very sick. Unfortunately, he did not leave with us. However, Dr. Gicking and the staff that treated our doggy were nothing short of amazing. Extremely kind and compassionate.
My wife and I highly recommend Blur Pearl. Awesome hospital and awesome doctors and staff.

It’s important to remember when looking at reviews to emergency vets like Blue Pearl that it is in fact an EMERGENCY vet. I believe that some of the negative reviews come from the simple fact that a lot of animals who come in here do not make it. You have to keep in mind that they see the worst cases here and some animals might not be able to be saved. Blue Pearl was nothing but nice and caring to my dog who was hit by a car. They saved his life and made sure he was Ok and stable for the duration of the time he was there. On top of that, they allowed us to visit the days following surgery and made us feel comfortable/explained everything that went on with him. They even let me visit my dog in ICU when he was too weak to walk out to see me. My dog is my best friend and I was very iffy about taking him here solely because of the reviews but I am so glad that he did not end up somewhere else. The people who work here are experienced and very compassionate about what they do. PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS!! Everyone working at Blue Pearl is qualified and frankly I can not believe that my dog is laying down by my feet right now back at home after all that happened to him. If you have an emergency and really want to give your pet the best chance at living then please take him here!  Oh yeah, and if you have any questions you can call them 24 hours a day, whenever you want! They also give you tons of updates when your animal is there. Really a great place, I will be forever grateful to all of the people who helped save my best friend.
