I will never go back here. I brought my cat in to have her checked out and I was told it would be and hour maybe an hour and a half wait because she was stable. So, in other words, she wasn't a priority. Ok, no problem. I waited, happily. I understand. But when the hour and a half went by I went to see what was going on and how much longer it would be and they said it would be another hour and a half. WHAT???? At what point is my cat a priority here?? Closing???? Nope will not be going back. I'm sorry but my babies ARE a priority to me. They were not busy. No-one was in the waiting area. I see why. Response back to the owner or whoever u r, no they did not let me know what was going on. They left me back there. I fell asleep a couple times waiting! I had to keep going and asking them. After 2 times of being told it's gonna be another hour, after I waited patiently for 2 to 2 and a half hours, u left. Defend them if u want to, this is my review of the awful experience I had at your facility.

I called after being referred by a nearby hospital for my dogs surgery. I provided my dogs details to Blue Pearl employee Diane. I expressed the need to obtain an estimate to help determine which hosiptal I would choose based on financials. Diane asked what was the pricing I received from the other places. I'm uncertain why that would have mattered. Since she went on to tell me an estimate wouldn't be given anyways. She was cold unpassionate, & very rude. Every other place was able to provide a ballpark figure. If staff was cold to me as a person, can't imagine how they are to furry friends that can't speak. I informed the referral hospital about the incident, they were very apologetic.

This place is the most terrible experience we have had ever since we got our dog 13 years ago. Here is what they do: regardless of your pet's medical issue, they will tell you that they have to keep him overnight. In our case, they quoted us $2,800 and stated that they would not perform ultrasound unless we left him there overnight. It was only after our regular vet interfered that they changed their tune and said they were confused and could do the ultrasound without an overnight stay. When we were picking our pet up, they made us wait for an hour, although we had a five-year old and a one-year old who was fussing with us. Other people in the waiting room had the exact same story - they just insist on you leaving your pet there overnight. This is apparently their corporate policy to rip people off. I am an attorney and I have a good mind of suing the heck out of them, drag each of their useless corporate officers, vets, and staff on the witness stand, and make them tell the jury what they are up to. Absolutely disgusted! Their website says that they take a compassionate approach to their clients. It is the complete opposite. Appalling.

12/29/17 - Our dog Jeff had a gash in his back left leg and my wife took him to Blue Pearl around 1:45 – 2pm. She sat there with our bleeding dog until 6pm before someone told her the procedure would take about 30 minutes and she can leave and pick him up when the doctor is done with him. We waited at home and called blue pearl back every couple hours and received the following excuses: 1. 8:13pm – Heidi answered the phone and told me he was being worked on. 2. 10:23pm – He hasn’t been seen yet. We questioned this since we were told over 2 hours ago that he was being “worked on” and the receptionist said she needed to talk to the doctor again and would call us back 3. 10:51pm – We received a call back saying there was a miscommunication earlier. Apparently he was getting blood taken at 8:13pm instead of being in surgery. We were then told that maybe his surgery could be started within the next hour. I asked them if he was sitting in a kennel bleeding out, waiting or has he been bandaged up or what? I was told, “Yes he is lying comfortably in the kennel and is not bleeding and we are sorry for the miscommunication. We have shaved and cleaned him for the surgery. We can waive your overnight fee for keeping here.” At this point I was furious because they basically just told me “we are not getting to him tonight, maybe tomorrow.” I said “What do you mean overnight fee?? He has been there since 2pm! How long are you going to make him wait, he needs help immediately.” So at this point I told them to have him ready in the next 20 minutes, we are picking him up. We get to Blue Pearl and the Dr. Ashley Moye came out and apologized for all the miscommunications and said she would be writing a report so it doesn’t happen again. She then left . 10 minutes later they bring our dog Jeff out of the back room bleeding all over himself STILL! I asked to speak with whoever is in charge of this place and they sent a different doctor out to talk to me. She started off by saying she just got here at 6 and doesn’t know the whole story. I told her that’s why I asked for Dr. Moye to come back out and talk to me but I guess she is too busy all of the sudden. I told her my dog has been sitting here waiting to be seen for help for going on 11 hours and he is still bleeding all over himself! Dr. Moye lied to me and my wife several times and advised he was bandaged up not bleeding on himself and laying in his kennel comfortably. We were also told he being shaved and prepped for surgery but come to find out it was all lies! His leg had not been shaved or cleaned and there was dried blood still in his fur. This isn’t right. We bring him here to get help not sit in a kennel bleeding all over himself for going on 11 hours! She advised that there were other animals they had to prioritize before they could get to him. I asked if my bleeding dog was not a priority at any point in the past 11 hours. I could’ve left him at home and left him bleeding out but we brought him here for help and obviously he is not a priority to anyone. His wound had not been shaved like we were told it was, he has not been bandaged like we were told, and it sure as hell seemed like he was not planning on being taken care of anytime soon. I requested to speak to an administrator but they advised she is not working and will not be back until 1/3/18. This is not a surprise seeing how they conduct business when the boss is not around. After it was all said and done, we picked up our dog, gave Blue Pearl and ear full for extorting us for services they did not rendered and leaving our child in a cage to bleed all over himself for half a day. We have been coming to Blue Pearl for about 3 years now and after this entire fiasco, we are definitely never returning. Anyone who wants help with their pet’s health should leave their animals in the gutter before choosing this so called “emergency” pet hospital. The photos are from when we picked him up from Blue Pearl at almost midnight. You can see he was not clean, bandaged, or shaved like they told us.

Everyone hear is amazing! My dog felt comfortable and the oncologist Dr. Rinaldi was amazing too. Very informative and gave us many options for my pet baby's treatment. I am so glad we were referred here.
