Everything about our visit to Bluewater was spectacular. Our server, Alexis, was well above average with a great attitude and personality. Then there’s the food, our food was second to none. I got something simple, fish and chip (fries), which I’m usually hesitant about but our server said the fish and chips here was really good, and that it was... not too much breading like many places, and lots of fish! My girlfriend got the clam chowder soup and the salmon plate, she absolutely loved it all! We had our dog with us and everyone was so nice to our dog, they even brought her a little treat bag which was a nice touch. Having the dog, we sat on the patio which overlooks the marina where you get a great view of the marina and sunset. Highly recommend this place, especially if you have a dog with you!

I live across the parking lot from Bluewater Grill. I use to go at least one a week after sailing. I noticed a slight decline in the food over time and decided it wasn't worthwhile. The place has a wonderful location which has been improved with a beautiful patio. Recently a friend of mine got an email to come and enjoy a special lobster tasting. She invited me and I told her that I was not crazy about the food. She convinced me, she called the manager who had sent the email and he told her to make reservations; she did. When we arrived they saw that we had two reservations, one for the tasting one for the restaurant. We were informed we would not be able to partake in the tasting. My friend asked for the manager, he came over and spoke with us. What I found strange was instead of listening, he said " the hostesses have been here a long time and would not make that mistake." He did however make some accommodations which I thought we fine. When the food arrived, , my lobster was severely undercooked, the green beans and finger potatoes we extremely oily. I asked for the manager and told him about my meal. He just defended it by saying "we have a lot of repeat customs. Other than the bad food, the customer service from the manager was weak. I didn't want the meal comped. I wanted him to know how I felt about the meal and the steady decline. I had seen in the food over the last five years. Again I was wrong just as he inferred my friend was lying about the reservation. Our marina has its annual tenant appreciation dinner there, it was marginal too. Perhaps the store location sales are so good that they can afford to lose the lifetime value of a customer. A customer who lives on the property and entertains locals and visitor after a day of boating.

Great food. The location is fun and the building and interior decor creates a great ambiance. The service was okay. Our waitress may have been having a bad day. Who knows. That was really the only issue we had, everything was was great.

A popular and busy seafood restaurant that delivered great food and service. Rocked up without a reservation and were offered a fine table next to the bar but views out over the marina. Huge selection of seafood and some steaks and other offerings as well. All in all a great upmarket family casual dining experience.

This was a wonderful place to eat whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a night out with the family. It's casual yet elegant and the staff is very friendly. They have great service and delicious food and it's a good alternative to the chain restaurants in the area.
