The good news is our waitress was very competent and friendly. The food was adequate. 
The bad news is the lobby. Many tables were available. The hostess was unwelcoming and in no hurry to seat us. She was busy chatting with 3 other staff members. You can do better!

I have been coming here for a long time with great experiences, and only the occasional bad cook or bad waitress peppered here and there. But overall I've enjoyed coming to Bob Evans, unfortunately this will be my last. Today according to the waitress, the cooks that are here today are so incompetent, and unable to understand how to alter a food order which they have have done previously on several occasions. Simply not put tomatoes on a plate, that the proposition alone would infuriate them. 
           So I was asked not to order that without tomatoes and suggested that I order something else. So what could I do I had to order something else, I didn't want to piss off the cooks and receive questionably compromised food.

Service was Good.  I had the Fresh Start breakfast which is very similar to the Be  Fit breakfast offered in the Akron market. Fresh Start has smaller pancakes and two turkey sausage links.

I keep going back thinking "maybe last time was a fluke experience" but I never have good luck getting the right food/hot food/any food at all/good service. It's kind of like a 'choose one of those options because you can't have it all' place.

We came in on a Wednesday at noon. Waiting twenty minutes to get seated as there were many many tables open, just dirty. All the staff was slow moving. The only one working hard was the one host who was busting butt trying to buss, host and seat. Without getting any help from others. Over an hour later, we were still waiting for our food. Server came and we expressed how we are frustrated how our food is taking so long and requested to speak with a manager. The manager came over and was super rude when we expressed how we were annoyed how long it was taking. Explained how she was 'short staffed' and did not offer to make it up to us. I have worked in restaurants for many years and I am disgusted how this restaurant was ran. We will not return and will find another meeting place as this is where we meet our Ohio family.
