This Bob Evans is a pretty good little joint in West Virginia. I had the 2 chicken piece platter, and the chicken noodle soup. It was very tasty. Our server was polite and attentive, and it was an all around good meal.

For the second time this week, not Allen items ordered were available and what was available was not prepared in a timely manner. If something is to be available at 4:00 pm, it ought to be ready by then- not an hour later. The service to the customer needs to come first - not what's convenient for the staff.

Service was bad - just bad. Had to walk up to the counter to get a refill on coffee. When the food came out after 45min (no exaggeration on that), it actually had different ingredients than what the menu had. Too bad - I remember when Bob Evans was a good place to eat.

The place is no different than any other bob Evans, the menus are dirty, the dishes come out dirty, the floor is dirty, the windows are dirty. The food gets returned. The eggs weren't cooked The sausage was burnt The waitress Amelia didn't check on us when the food was delivered - The biscuits were hard and you couldn't open with your hands. Manager took sausage off the bill.

As always, the service was friendly and attentive, the food was wxcellent, and the prices are reasonable. We always seek out a Bob Evans when traveling
