Totally disappointed. Food was so salty we couldn’t eat it. Told both the server and the cashier. They both responded with “I’m sorry “, and nothing else. No offer to replace or remove from bill. Grant it they were short of help, which is what we were told when we received our food after 30+ minute wait. We didn’t complain; were so happy to finally receive it. But then couldn’t even eat it. Training is much needed.

I go here frequently for breakfast with my toddler and baby. I've never had to wait to he seated (I go during the week between 8-10). My food has always come out and hot and within a reasonable time. The servers always seem to be in good moods, hospitable, and attentative to their customers. Plus, the food is cheap for a sit-down restaurant. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The french toast is my favorite!

Just OK. It took forever to be seated. Took forever to get our food. It was just warm, not hot. Waitress was very polite and friendly. Overall not great

This place is slightly hit or miss according to how good your service is. When it is very crowded, the service is, frankly, below average. When it is empty, the service can either be below average or excellent. When it is slightly busy, the service is usually outstanding. The coffee is good. The menu items are all pretty reliable, except don't order the "3 cornbread" item, which is just a horribly fried mush of a corn sludge. It is not cornbread. The omelettes are all very good. The skillets are all good. The other breakfast items are all reliably good. The lunch and dinner items are all pretty good. They have a good selection of pies for dessert.

Service was awful, food was bland, part of our order was missing and we were done with everything else before we had to remind the waitress to bring it. We won't be going back! If you are looking for good breakfast in Washington, head for Franklin's!
