I've never been to a better comic shop than Bob's. His new book selection is limited, but that's ok because his back issue selection is amazing. Bob isn't going "wow" you with overbearing customer service, but if you need help or have a question, he's more than happy to help. All his books are priced, so there's no eBay checking at the cash register.  If you're looking for a no nonsense, no frills, old school comic shop, this is the one. Great selection, competitive pricing, and an owner who knows his stuff.

Definitely the best comic store to go to. It has a perfect blend of really old and brand new and everything between. You have a superb variety of comics and other collectibles that all range in condition. Bob is a really nice guy who is fair and cares about what he does!

Bob's is where I go when I want to treat myself. He always has a great selection of the better Marvel & DC keys, and prices them fairly. Of course, the more money you spend, the more likely it is that he will discount your order. There is a huge selection of back issues that are very well organized, and always has at least 50 long boxes of $1 comics to dig through. The books aren't junk, either. Bob is the only dealer around the Birmingham area who stocks a lot of key books. Some of the other shops acquire great books here and there, but Bob always has something really
good and really expensive, and some comics that you may never run into again.

A store for collectors, definitely worth the time. Be ready to dig though those boxes and bring your list.

Known Bob since I was a little kid. Dad took me to visit every weekend. Bob is awesome. Great memories of this place.
