The MOST amazing Italian food that I've had outside of Italy! The service is excellent, and the food is to-die-for. We had the octopus appetizer unbelievably tender and the striped bass with risotto which was unbelievable, never would have thought fish could be so good.  And the bread pudding dessert was out of this world. I've had bread pudding in the past but never understood why it was so popular... until now. Their homemade bread pudding with homemade cherry Gelato was incredible. It's so wonderful to have an authentic Italian restaurant in town! We will be back!

Love this place. We go their often. Nice family style restaurant. Starting from bread to appetizers to entree and finishing the meal with a dessert, everything was delicious. I went to Boccone with family and friends. The dishes were beautifully arranged and were delicious. Silvio and his staff were so friendly and attentive. Everyone loved their food.

The best authentic Italian food that you can find in northern New Jersey. Almost everything is homemade and tasted absolutely delicious. The owner and everyone that works there takes pride in what is offered and it shows. I am so happy to have this restaurant so close by and not have to go to Brooklyn for real Italian food. What a delightful evening with friends, eating authentic amazing Italian food! Many menu options for meat, pasta and vegetarian eaters, with friendly service. Even the owner Silvio came around to check on us and make sure all was as should be. BYOB - reservations recommended. Outstanding, in a literal sense. The food here truly stands out starter, main course and dessert. Everything we had was absolutely amazing, both in taste and presentation. The stuffed pork chop special was the best piece of pork I’ve EVER had no exaggeration. WOW….. We’ll be back, often new favorite.

Had an excellent Italian meal; all dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. In my opinion, it's the best food in Livingston. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner takes pride in his food.

Boccone is a real gem of New Jersey. Silvio's special menu is a remarkable experience of new flavors of classic and contemporary dishes. From the lamb shank sambucco to the bread pudding, your upscale foodies won't find such an extraordinary experience anywhere else. The service is world class, exemplary and so fitting for a family party or a romantic dinner for two. You will come for the food and you'll keep coming back for the service. MUST VISIT!

Great restaurant! Only have been here once, but the service / ambiance and the quality of food did provide a good experience. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. A bit higher priced, the specialty soup Cozze pomo doro fresco was $15, the specialty Beef Short Rib was $39...however, both were great.  Keep in mind it is BYOB. Did not bring our wine, but the owner was kind enough to bring us two glasses of good white wine - very outgoing guy, focused on you having a good time, the traditional Italian way.  Would recommend to them a streamlined process for handling reservations and also dealing with everything when really busy.  Will go back.
