I could give this place 5 stars for the aesthetic alone. The decorations in this restaurant are so beautiful and intricate. The tables aren’t too small and there setup is unique. We went for brunch and split potato pancakes, the flat iron steak and the kielbasa sausage with eggs. Everything was delicious. The service was a little on the slower side considering the place was relatively empty, but it was worth it for the food.

I tried this place restaurant week since I had heard so any great things. The restaurant itself it very cute and cozy. The service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. The cocktails were strong and tasty and they had a good beer selection. I’m giving it 4 stars because the food was just ok. Nothing was bad but nothing blew me away either. Worth checking out but maybe avoid the restaurant week menu.

I think I would love going to this place with a larger group (we were two). The small dishes like various sausages and such would be perfect as small dishes for a group, and the larger plate we got was better for a single entree, but still felt a little like a larger version of smaller plates. That said, the flavors were delicious! The atmosphere was great. The cocktails were super tasty, too, with the highlight being the hot apple cider with rosemary and rum. Would recommend, especially with a group.

Always love coming here. Eastern European comfort food. Best chicken paprikash I have ever had, including Budapest. Get a litre of beer, some sides, and a meat dish, and go home very happy.

A cozy joint that's super easy to walk right past (which I did, twice). The service is super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They are happy to make easy exclusions to a dish. The back servers keep the table refreshed and water glasses full without you even knowing it's happening. Good cocktails, once you get past the ones that have been ruined by hipster mixologists. The food is delicious. It's also a great compromise -- if you can even call it that -- for when dining out with your father-in-law who loves German food, but thinks it's reached its pinnacle at The Berghoff.
