Went here to see Buddy Guy. Was a great show. The downstairs was already packed when we got there, so we went upstairs to eat first. We all got burgers. They were meh, kinda dry and flavorless. I used A1 to help. The service was great though and the beers cold and affordable for the area. There are 2 bars downstairs and 1 upstairs. Pool tables were available upstairs as well.

Unbelievable! They have chairs for about 50 people. What is that about? If I pay $50 for a ticket it would be nice to sit down. Suggestion: Save some money and stop handing out the crappy lanyard and buy some chairs. I stayed at the bar upstairs and watched a football game. I asked to move my chair over to the area of the upstairs that had the screen to see what was going on downstairs and I was told that I could not. Very disappointing!

Always good local live music. Come before 8pm to have good food, reasonable beverages and avoid cover. Check the site for national acts. Buddy does residency the month of January, Thursday through Sunday. A for sure must see if you've never been.

Very disappointed. We received a $100 gift certificate for Christmas 2017, not realizing there was a 1-year expiration. We had planned to use it tonight but after a phone call to Guy's were informed that they would refuse to honor it. We will be avoiding this place - and informing our gift givers that Buddy Guy's took their money. Furthermore, gift cards/certificates are regulated by the 2008 Illinois Consumer Fraud Act. Companies are not allowed to pocket the money until after 5 years.

Chicago is rich in culture. That is exemplified by one of it's premier gems, a blues club known as Buddy Guy's Legend. When I stepped through the doors an electrifying ambience embraced me. Guest from near and far enjoying the house delights literally were treated with a Monday Open Mike that included a Buddy Guy moment backed by the Jimmy Burns Group (house band of the evening). The night featured riveting appearances by Mr G. Guy (Buddy's son), Mr Wes, Ms Holley Maxwell, and Ms Queen. The evening was rounded out with a rotation of sign in jam musicians who were not short on talent themselves ... Also, a shout out to my new friends from St. Louis, glad you had fun .... Nice spot Buddy
