I'm a regular customer of Bollinger's and the 1-star review below is a bunch of nonsense. This group came in, saw the cooler, and without asking, helped themselves to it, regardless of governing state and local laws, basic courtesy for the restaurant, and general common sense. Talk about feeling entitled! They got mad and stormed out when management asked them what they were doing. With that said, Bollinger's is a first rate small town restaurant and I highly recommend it!

Went in Sunday w/a client of mine, our waitress Amy was amazing, they were busy, she cleaned our table off promptly w/a bleach rag, loved that, she was a very friendly, attentive waitress, my food was good, ordered sandwiches to go, they were very skimpy, my hubby was not pleased @ all, people pay for a sandwich to get a sandwich, not 1 piece of cheese, 1 egg, & 1 piece of meat between 2 pieces of bread, I'm also disappointed because one of the other waitresses was so loud the entire time, was talking very loudly to customers, co-workers, & her daughter who was running the cash register, she was literally yelling across the restaurant, I couldn't hear myself think, couldn't focus on my business meeting w/my client, couldn't fully enjoy my breakfast or hear my client from across the table, I had to keep asking my client I invited to this noisy breakfast to repeat what she said because that waitress was so rudely loud, shut up so we can eat in peace & hear what the other person across the table is saying to us, there is no need to be so rediculously boisterous when people are coming in to support your business & you have a loud mouth that ruins the entire date when you're planning on a peaceful, relaxing environment!

1. Food is delicious, and cheap. 2. Nice atmosphere. 3. Considerate employees -- both the waitress we had and the cook were very considerate in trying to find ways to get me a bbq sauce that was an in-house recipe to take home. 4. I left my credit card there, and when I realized it the next day and called in about it, they looked into it immediately. Apparently, the owner had taken it, tried to look me up online to find a number to call, but when she had no success she called my credit card company and had them deactivate it. I spoke with her about all of this and although I would have loved to easily get my card back, I appreciated that she was so willing to go out of her way to prevent my card from being abused. Wonderful customer service!

Family owned and operated restaurant. Cozy place. We visited here on a sat afternoon after a Long 8.6 mile loop at catoctin mountain park, was so starving. such a friendly staff. brisket here is so good don't miss out. Try the home made pie butterscotch is the best.
