Being African American I must say recently I was in the store. on the first occasion I was profiled for being African American. As I roam from Ladies Department and just made my way looking around. I noticed two white employees, or lost prevention people. Suddenly in my space I guess when they observed I was not attempting to steal anything. They where gone out of my view. Yesterday January 17, 2017 I was in your store in search of a Pea Coat with Epaulets on the shoulders for my husband. I ask the employee who was profiling me. "do you carry any Pea Coats with Epaulets." She told me no the Martinsburg Store did not carry them. She told me maybe the Hagarstown Store might carry some. Then I told her that I found one on line at Bon Ton. So we went over to the check out station. and we found the coat that I saw the night before. But while I was standing there discussing the coat. An older white employee (maybe 50ish)walks up to the sales associate and asked. "Is everything ok looking at me dead in my face. If that is not profiling you could fooled me. The Sales associate told the older looking employee. "yes I am helping her to order a coat online. The sad thing about this is I spend good amount of money at your Martinsburg store. One funny thing I have noticed while shopping, or looking around the store. Whites are not profiled this is from my personal observation.

Prices can be misleading since sale signs are not placed with correct items. Nice variety of clothes.

I love bon ton but not a fan of the coupon/discount system they have going on. Otherwise great quality pieces and great prices when they have door busters and incredible values!
