It was a chance discovery of this new Bonchon outlet in South San Francisco... and a pleasant one at that. If you like Korean Fried Chicken, this place will be an absolute delight. The restaurant is clean, the service is prompt and friendly. The menu isn't overly extensive but suffices the craving for Korean. We ordered a combo of Soy Garlic and Spicy fried chicken, an Avocado Salmon Ball (1,000+ calories!) and Japchae. Couldn't fault anything of what we ordered!

Basically, awesome food but terrible service. Very unfriendly. They really need some training on how to treat their customer. Sucks that I have to deal with it because the food is goo.

Best fried chicken I’ve had outside of the Bible Belt, and easily the best Asian fried chicken I’ve had in the Bay Area. Prices are fantastic, portions are huge, and service is good! Go here!

Trisha was a fun and friendly server who greeted us with a great big smile! Had the boneless strips because we were starving and they were delicious but a tad bit drier than the drumsticks or wings. Our bad - we know better - so for the first time, we asked for more sauce (soy garlic)... Drums and wings from now on! Hubby doesn't like kimchee, but HE ordered the kimchee coleslaw and loved it!

Expect big portions. Ordered the spicy chicken bibimbap and it was delicious! Definitely coming again. A little pricey but there will be leftovers. Staff was nice and helpful too.
