I was on a bus tour from Springfield, MO, recently, and I overheard the ladies lamenting the fact that we only have one small BonWorth store in Branson now. I, too, miss BonWorth. They really blew it.  In the past, BW catered to older women. They came with their husbands during Veterans celebrations; they came on bus tours to see the shows, or they flocked in from Springfield and surrounding areas. We all loved having "our" store - not the same old, same old for younger women. They didn't even have to advertise. Women on the buses would say, "Wow, I love that outfit," and the reply would be, "I got it at BonWorth." That's how I heard about them, and became a devoted customer. Now I haven't been in several years. My friend and I used to go down and load up the trunk. Oh, well. Everything changes, and never for the better.

I love their skirts & blouses, because they are easy to care for, and they last a long time.

Love their clothes!  Quality at a fair price.  Clean, orderly shop with pleasant, helpful staff.
