HOW TO FIND THE 3 RED & GREEN STRIPED BARNS: Lacy's Corners is a "Y" shaped intersection north of Dryden Village & across from the traffic light/access road to Tompkins-Cortland Community College. YOU MUST TURN OFF NY Rte 13 ONTO NORTH ROAD. After the turn find a blue sign for Tompkins County "Route 163". Travel 250' to a dark green mailbox then turn onto a gravel surfaced driveway, an historic Cayuga Indian Trail. BINGO.

Amazing bookstore with great prices, a very knowledgeable owner, and stacks upon stacks of books from the greatest hits to hidden gems to collectors' gold to be sure.

My favorite used book store!  I travel extensively across the Northeast and there is little out there to compare with the Book Barn.  It has almost everything and if you can't find it Valdimer knows where it is. I can spend hours there.  My only gripe is that some of the stacks are a little dark making it tough to see, but that said if you like old and used books DON'T miss this place.  Always a warm welcome and miles of books, what more can you ask for!
