Great service and good selection. I was able to pick up my snowblower a three days early, before a big storm. Good run down of the machine, very knowledgeable staff.

I chose Boston Lawnmower for my snow thrower service and it was a big mistake. I called them in September and they told me that the process would take about a month. This would have meant that I would get my machine back in October, well before the first snow fall. After several weeks of not receiving a call to schedule service I called them, they told me it would be a few more weeks. They finally called me the week before thanksgiving to schedule my pickup. They picked it up and I assumed that it would be back in a couple weeks. After a few weeks went by I called to check the status. They told me that they hadn't even looked at it yet. But that it would be looked at by the end of the week. When they finally looked at it (2 months after my origional call to them) they told me that they didn't have a part that I needed and that they would need to order it. This means that my snow thrower sat there for weeks before they even looked at it and that now the part that I needed would take an additional week to come in so they could fix the unit. I asked to speak to the manager and some toothless guy told me that he wasn't in and that he would call me back... after hours of waiting I went down to the store because I felt like I was getting the run around. By the time I got down to the store it was close to 4 pm. When I got to the store they tried to calm me down by telling me that they would order the part first thing in the morning!! WHY DIDNT YOU ORDER THE PART THAT DAY!!! WHY WASN'T THE PART IN STOCK!! WHY DIDNT YOU LOOK AT MY MACHINE WHEN IT FIRST CAME IN SO YOU COULD HAVE ORDERED THE PART THEN! There was nothing I could do.... I had to take it up the rear and wait for them to actually do some work... They called me 7 days later to schedule the drop off saying that the earliest time they could deliver it was not for another 2 weeks because the truck was full!!! The guy on the other end of the phone obviously wasnt too bright and directed me to the manager. they eventually agreed that they could put it on the truck that week. During the time that my snow thrower was serviced I had to pay $200 for an emergency snow plow. Couple that with the ridiculously expensive service, I could have went to Lowes and bought a whole new machine!! All in all this place is terrible and I will be going to Robinsons from here on out!

Edit: Use to be open on Sundays. Not anymore. I no longer have a reason to go here over Norfolk Power. Still a good place otherwise. They have excellent business hours. This is the only professional equipment sales, parts, & service place open on both Saturdays and Sundays.

I've been going here to get my parts for my Ariens snowblower, I will say the staff is excellent and when the time comes to buy a new snowblower. I will be going here.

Still Open on SUNDAY'S 10-3PM and open weeknights till 7PM Polite, courteous staff no pressure sales and large service Dept.
