I enjoy Boston markets food. However the drum hill location is in dire need of drive through help. The lat 3 times I've tried to order at the drive through, I was forced to drive away. Once, I was told I had to go inside. The other 2 times, I waited for so long I couldn't believe it. Avoid this location.
Food was okay, a little dry but that is not the reason for 2 stars. The younger male worker at the counter was rude and snippy when asked questions about the food. Not very good customer service from him, I will not be visiting this location again. I will make the drive to another location if and when I want to try this place again. I understand everywhere is short staffed but keeping the staff with better customer skills at the front counter will definitely avoid alot of bad reviews.
Never Ever pick up Thanksgiving dinner here! Had the store managers daughter Rhonda come outside while all the customers including myself have been waiting for 1hr for there thanksgiving dinner pick up orders getting impatient which is understandable she looks at all of us and says what ever happened to cooking? So ghetto and disrespectful!
I love Boston market but this location has an erratic record. Lately the food quality and portion size is low. I'm holding a thigh. It looks like a won't. This is a 3 piece dark meal.
Stood on the line for literally an hour. Stupid place, I come on thanksgiving day to get some stuffing, veggies and sweet sweet potatoes. They got nothing lol. Wonder if they have turkeys . Ridiculous
I was trying to eat untill a server who is an old man who was wearing red came up to me when I was eating and started asking me personal questions about my age where I work and where I live. Don’t come here if you’re looking to enjoy you’re food in peace
The food is always good. Portion size is very dependent on the server and what they have available. My latest experience had me wait 20 minutes in line to order. Maybe 7 people in front of me. I get to order. The server gets my sides ready and then says they are waiting for chicken to cook and takes my money. I should have asked how long but it looked It was 15 minutes. Someone was picking up an order with 4 whole chickens. I had to wait for those to be packed up before I could get my 1 chicken. When I got mine I saw the order with the 4 chickens still sitting on the counter yet to be bagged. There was a lot of wasted effort. The sides were not out - maybe the steam table was broken. The manager seemed fine with the lack of process - just happy to be getting paid. But the food is good. It should never take 45 minutes to get a simple order. Maybe this is the reason so many Boost Market stores have closed.
I haven't been to Boston market in 15 years so I went in told the kid I haven't been here in forever but do you still have the chicken sandwich meal ?yep ! $13.. but if you get a half of a chicken with two sides that's only $9 pretty confusing. Half a chicken mixed vegetable mashed potatoes nine dollars some chicken on a roll with lettuce and tomato 13 and the cornbread was the best part of the meal back when I used to go there now it's as thin as a dime the food was cold I had to reheat everything the skin on the chicken was like rubber all around was horrible. The kid that was taking my order making my sandwich good but then this guy came out of nowhere he took over and screwed everything up I had a coupon for a free dessert not in the bag didn't give me my soda with my meal I had to ask for it twice no napkins cold food I won't be back.
Pretty poor experience here. A lot of staff behind the counter for pretty slow service. Many of the sodas and the raspberry lemonade were out of syrup. Update 9/15/22: The review above was from 3 years ago. I've continued to come to this Boston Market on trips between Boston and Nashua as most of the other franchises have closed. Coming sparingly has allowed me to see the long-term degradation of service today. Many of the items on the menu were not available. Same exact issues with the soda machine and lemonade. The place was basically empty. They've taken turkey off of the menu. This place needs a course correction. I'll be surprised if it's open a year from now.
I don't usually like to write review but I cannot let this deceiving verbiage Heat & Serve slide. Folks , IT IS NOT HEAT & SERVE. You have to cook just like you go to the supermarket and buy the meat home to cook which is alot cheaper. I was surprised when they hand me my frozen raw prime rib and turkey breast. When I told the employees that I thought just heat and serve and she said I'm sorry you have to cook it for 2 hours. Then it is deceiving to say heat and serve. Both employees agreed with me. I can't blame them because they are not the decision maker. If you buy the meat yourself you can defrost it the nigh before. Here its still frozen and my pick up time was 2pm but I didn't get my order until 2.45pm.So for me this is the last time for Boston Market. If I can give zero I would. I feel cheated.
