Overpriced, most of staff has limited knowledge or doesnt care to help. I've had numerous bad experiences, but I keep going back because of the location and selection. Just to list a few: I've counted, only about every 5th time I visit am I ever acknowledged by anyone but the cashier; I once asked about a bourbon I was looking for, somewhat hard to find, but not like pappy or something, guy looked at me like I was crazy, then told me they would only sell that to their best customers, I went somewhere else and bought it; another time I was looking for a special wine, they had it, but it was literally $30 more than total wine, other wines are typically 10-20% more at bottles than total, and about the same you pay at a shop downtown, on most wines and beers they charge even more than whole foods, whole foods has an excellent wine and beer manager; let's see, one more, went to buy a couple 6 packs of a beer I liked when I noticed it was marked 7.99, the guy at the register said, huh, that shouldn't be ringing up 7.99, it's supposed to be 10.99. Instead of honoring it, he had me wait while he went to a different computer to correct the price, then wait while he pulled the label, then he rang it up at the higher price, no apology. In this town there are really good places to buy, this one has convenience but that is it. The owner cares more about the dollar than the customer.

Buying beer and liquor in SC is the definition of a hassle but this store definitely makes it much easier. They have an extremely wide range of products at extremely fair prices. It really it a one stop shop!

The biggest selection of beer and alcohol in the area by far. Such a large store that they offer shop carts. Now, that's my kind of liquor store. Prices are cheaper than most. Courteous staff. The only problem was that it was a little too easy to fill up my shopping cart.

Had a lot of help when making a large business purchase. The location is definitely tucked away and I never see any advertisement anywhere for Bottles.

Great selection of beers including a large local beer area. Best prices in the Charleston area for craft beer. Also had a small selection of homebrew supplies (bottles, cappers, caps, buckets, grain, extract, thermometers, hydrometers, etc.) which was a surprise.
