Lovely spot for a walk, catch up with friends, do some gardening. Has parking and a beautiful public restroom with mosaic walls.

Beautiful park, although it is mostly a P-Patch. The gardeners have in my experience always been super friendly and talkative if you ask them about what I they're growing. There's a gazebo in the middle for picnicking. The gazebo has a plug for charging phones, although at the time of writing this (6/10/17), it is covered and locked. There are walking paths around the park so you can view the plants and flowers, which is super pleasant in the late spring and summer. The bathroom facilities have always been clean in my experience, although at least the men's bathroom does not have a closing/locking door for the sit-down toilet, so make sure you shout if you hear someone else approaching! Overall a great park for picnicking and walking around, although probably not one you'd return to frequently if you don't have a plot for gardening there.

This park is just great! I went here recently and the park volunteer was very friendly and gave me a tour of the park and where I could find native plants. There is a wonderful native habitat restoration site in the north side of the property that was planted in 2000. If you look closely you'll find plant labels with the native plant's scientific name, and the plants used, and the name in an indigenous language!
