Beautiful, but as long as they worked on this project, I really expected it to be much better! Needs more stuff for kids and maybe a wading pool!

This is a very minimalistic design that you might miss ,but worth the visit as Jimi Hendricks was bigger than life and an important musician to pay homage to.

My visit from Pittsburgh PA. This is a start! The park just opened and not much is there now. I am hoping in time more items will be added to the park and I would not recommend at this time the park for the person just coming for a Jimi Hendrix Experience. There is a Butterfly garden, a trail of purple color sidewalk with lyrics from his songs. Some benches are there for sitting and a giant, orange, metal object I think is a whale's tail but I could be wrong. Not sure how this object fits. Anyway I am hoping more will be added to this park that will satisfy the Jimi Hendrix fan as well as memorialize him in an experience that is fun and COOL like Jimi.

Beautiful park dedicated to Jimi Hendrix and his work. I really liked the lyrics written in stone, forming a circular path to walk around. Worth the stop to enjoy learning about Jimi's life, as there is a bio also written in stone. Somewhere near is apparently a butterfly garden. It's a nice place for a walk/bike ride.

One of the best open field parks in Seattle. I recommend coming here and sitting for a bit enjoying the view. Walk the trails for more parks!
