I'm giving 2 stars only because my finance guy, John was awesome! If it wasn't for him I would give 0 stars if possible. I bought a 2021 Mazda CX5 and the process has been a nightmare. After I was given the certified preowned checklist which stated everything was in working order I found the driver side window had a crack in it like a piece of gravel hit it. I told Cassidy that I would like them to fix the window before I picked it up. Together we scheduled to pick the car up the next day at 2:30. The next day Tuesday I called at noon because I hadn't heard from anyone. Finally I received a call back from the manger, Cassidy wasn't working that day and had not told anyone to fix the window. He let me know whenever it's finished. The next day Wednesday my screen starts flashing random colors and patterns, they made me an appointment with service. I sat in the service department for an hr and a half over the "promised time". They told me they had no idea what was wrong and sent me on my way. My screen continued to do the flashing so I went back to the service department on Friday at 2pm. I asked for them to replace the screen and give me a loaner. They agreed and said they would order the part right away. I called on Tuesday to see if my car was close to being ready since I was told my loaner was due on Wednesday. My service advisor had been gone for multiple days so someone different kindly helped me. I was told my part wasn't even ordered until later on Monday, takes 4 days to be delivered and they were hoping it would be done this week. I bought this car over a week ago and still haven't even been able to drive it in normal working condition like they told me it would be. I won't ever buy from this company again that's for sure.
I purchased a CX50 in November 2023. It was special ordered, and supposedly fully inspected by Mazda when it was delivered to them for me to pick up. I noticed shortly after I left the dealership that there was an issue with the paint coverage on the driver’s pillar, and contacted the manager and the salesman. After repeatedly asking for an update, I was told to bring it in for pictures for their warranty dept. I did, and then after weeks of being told it was being looked into, I called again, and was told someone else was working on it. After not receiving any communication from the 3rd person supposedly working on my issue, I brought my SUV in for the first oil change. I then spoke with yet another person who gave me some hope this would be worked out, and after more pictures were taken, it was determined that the issue was the black sealant from Mazda installing my windshield. That person then chose to quit communicating with me, but I had bought the paint protection package, so brought my SUV in for the first application I didn’t want it to expire and talked with yet another person who said would work on this issue. He called and left me 2 voicemails, saying the same thing the other 4 had, the he was working with the district manager to get it resolved. I have left a few voicemails for him now, and as usual from any of them, no response. I’ve owned the vehicle for almost a year, and this is on Mazda to fix, but it seems because my paint job is a 5 step process, they don’t want to fix their screwup. I love my SUV, but this issue should have been fixed months ago, yet almost a year later, and 5 of their people “working” on it, it’s still not fixed.
They fixed my water leaking CX50 that my original dealer refused to fix. Since the first visit, they were very willing to listen and help. Provided possible cause of the issue and gave a possible fix. Every step was explained, and was very honest about why they would not tear down headliner just to check rain leak. But they didn't stop there but let me know they will tear down headliner if I would pay for diagnostic service fee when no leak was found under them. Tbh, I am still feeling annoyed that I had to agree to pay that service fee in case no leak was found, but I also understand why since they are doing a warranty repair, which they often don't get paid properly by the manufacturer. Appreciate the honesty though. They are also a locally owned business, not corporate owned, after all. I will be returning to this dealer to do maintenance services and oil changes instead of my original dealer.
First time getting my new Mazda CX5 serviced at Reliable Mazda. Just FYI to anyone who goes there for an oil change, they add a "fuel treatment" charge for $20 without asking or even mentioning it. I didn't notice it until I got home, when I tried to call and speak with someone "no one was available". Aren't you supposed to have a full tank of gas with a fuel treatment? I have only 1/4 tank of gas, and again, no one said or mentioned anything about a fuel treatment and/or if I should fill my tank. I had my last car a Lexus for over 10 years and always took it to the Lexus dealer for service. The same with our Acura. I'm not sure if I will continue that tradition with my Mazda. Update: I changed my star rating from 3 to 1. I reached out to the service person who helped me multiple times, left a message with customer service and sent an email to the service manager. No one has called me back or responded. They obviously do not care about keeping my business. Probably because they know they won't be able to take advantage of me. Update #2, 6/20/2024: I received the below message from the dealer. I emailed Robert Beverly on 6/12, the same day I left the review. I have not heard anything back from this gentleman. This seems to be the dealer's response to most complaints, possibly to give anyone who reads the review the impression the dealer is taking care of the issue. I will send "Robert Beverly" an email again assuming it is a real person. I will follow up on this review if/when I hear back from "Robert Beverly". If no followup is posted, I did not hear back from them the second time either. Update #3, 7/2/2024: I emailed Robert Beverly as requested on 6/12. I have still not heard from anyone. It is my assumption that they post this response to reach out to "Robert Beverly" to give people who are reading thier reviews the impression they are taking care of their customer complaints. I serioiusly doubt "Robert Beverly" actually exists.This is probably an unmonitored email address. They actually are not responding to customer's complaints.
Excellent service from Reliable Mazda! Called in for parts. Clint made the process easy and even got me all the part numbers for me to reference the manual. Looking forward to when I need a new Mazda and coming here!
Terrible service department, blame customer for any issues or misunderstandings. I basically have to take my 2023 Mazda in every month for an issue or something breaking. I will NEVER buy a Mazda again due to how things have gone for me at this place and how they treat me every time I have to come in, you would think they would actually care about your business considering I come in so much and bring them so much money. What a joke.
Good service but unfortunately it took 3 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation even with an appointment. I got a special oil so I expected it to take a little longer than normal, but not deserving of an extra two hours longer. Also didn’t even get to speak to customer service until 30 minutes past my appointment. Overall disappointing in time management, but again a good service. I recommend not waiting in-person if you use this place.
I have had nothing but horrible communication and service here. Well today I bought a new 2022 CX5 turbo and a new 2023 CX50 turbo from SUPERIOR MAZDA of Bentonville. Plenty in stock and amazing service. I called last night and was there at 8:30AM for both of them. I will be going there for all service going forward. Reliable keeps not being reliable.
Blake and Vince were genuinley friendly and quite knowledgeable. They made buying our new Mazda a smooth process. And, I've never had a better financing experience--Gerson made the finance process easy. Great experience at Reliable Mazda!
I trust Reliable Mazda to work on my car, they know my car and can and have taken care of all its needs, and they do it with care, and pride! Never over charged for services, and with the attention to detail they leave me feeling confident in what they say! Nobody knows more about your Mazda than these guys do so why trust anyone else? Thanks guys for all you do, your #1 in my book!
