Living here would be great if every maintanence issue didn't take at least two weeks to address. The office regularly lies, for instance saying their plumber will arrive at a certain time, but he doesn't, so we make time and stay at home for nothing and nobody. Calling the office is an exercise in futility. The receptionist can barely communicate human thoughts. Talking to any robot would be more productive. There is one competent sounding person named Kris(sp?) who seems helpful enough until you realize you've been lied to. Our rent goes up $150 every year while basic maintenance and timely service are entirely neglected. Avoid renting from the Braum family if you can. They do not care about their tenants.

I enjoy living in my Braum building because it's in a great location and the rent is fairly affordable. I will say, however, that the Real Estate Company is negligent at best. There's always leaks and standing water in the parking lot, the trash is not stored properly so it's either overflowing in the building, or the alley outside. There's a systemic problem with mail theft and too frequent garage breakins (which the landlord will not get involved with). I know tenants who have had problems with both extreme water damage and mold. 
If you have an emergency, it's very difficult to get a hold of someone in the office who can help you. The woman who answers the phone, (I believe her name is Gili?) has a hard time making accurate reports, will try to deflect any issues, and never seems to transfer your call to anyone else. She's hung up on me multiple times while I tried to calmly report issues with the building.
While I like the apartment space I live in, I certainly don't feel that the landlords care about the wellbeing of either their tenants or their building.

Terrible service. They never answer their phone. Water heater has been broken for a week now.
