Food is very good and perfect for the classic American breakfast in the Midwest. The atmosphere is of a modern diner which I very much enjoy. My only criticism is the service has only been average at best, the couple times I have gone I have waited 10-15 minutes just to receive coffee and then another 10 just to make my order. All this waiting in a restaurant when it isn't even rush hour. Hope they can improve upon it because I do it joy the food, location, and overall atmosphere.

My husband had the blueberry pancakes and he said they were very good. I had the strawberry Belgium waffle. It was good but a little skimpy. I have never had a waffle that had holes in it where there should have been just indents. The whole waffle was like that. It looked like they ran out of batter. And this was at 8:00 A.M.

We went on Sunday for the all day breakfast stuff. They were pretty busy, which is a good sign in my book. Food was really good and came pretty quickly.

My family has gone here for years. The food items have been changing recently and the service isn't as great as it used to be. Still a good breakfast, but not as awesome as it was years ago.

Any time I pass through Cedar Rapids, I make it a point to swing by for breakfast. Always fast, but not rushed... good service and good food.
