In today's age, its not often that you are able to find a small, progressive business which emulates the model of being customer oriented, employee driven, and community based. That is why when I was first introduced to Breckenridge Bears, I was astounded by the amount of business Breckenridge Bears procures for others based around them. Not only do they source their building materials from Colorado based providers, but they also take exemplary steps to assure that every one of their artists are locally based. As a customer of Breckenridge Bears, I always had a feeling I wasn't just buying a cute, artisan, craft carving, or another piece of one of a kind barn wood furniture. Instead, I felt I was buying into, as well as supporting the community which they work in, and source their products from. Just by purchasing a simple carving, I gained a feeling of giving back to a community I have come to know, and love.

As an employee of BB for over a year, I would recommend anyone visiting Breckenridge to stop into our store. We have a huge selection of carvings and furniture, as well as a range of other handmade items. The owners have been wonderful to me not only as an employee but as a human being. I have loved the past year working here and being a part of this well oiled machine that is Breck Bears. They buy lunch, allow for any schedule I need, I can bring my dog into work, and got a great christmas present last year :) I will be sad to see the shop close and I recommend coming in before that time (new years) and check out both our sale sections and our retail sections which will continue to be sold at partner stores throughout Colorado. The owners and staff are very welcoming and can help with any questions so come on in!

Breck Bears is an amazing place to find some incredibly unique Colorado wood items! From the little critters to custom made log furniture you're sure to find something for your home that you can't live without! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to work with their guests! We always refer our friends & family to go check out their items for their Colorado gifts or home furnishings!

Breck bears is an amazing place to find a keepsake you'll treasure for life. The employees are cheerful and unique to Summit county Colorado, the prices are reasonable for the value you're getting, and their sales section alone is worth a trip. It's sad to see a Breckinridge family business leave that location. I hope everyone who has grown to love this business continues to support their partners throughout Colorado.

I visited the town of Breckenridge during vacation, while I was driving into town I saw a store which had multiple wood animal carvings along with some creative outdoor furniture. It looked like a place that would be fun to shop in, so I pulled into one of their conveniently located parking spots. As soon as I exited my vehicle, I was greeted by a gal with a friendly smile, and demeanor, I think her name was Ashley or Alison, I can't recall exactly (apologies nice lady!). I told her I was on a budget, because I planned on spending money on booze. She laughed at my joke which was actually not a joke at all, but rather a proclamation of honesty. With her new found knowledge of my "thriftiness", the nice lady directed me towards not one, not two, but three different sales sections, there was a 25%. 50%, and 75% off section! I was able to leave with a keepsake I'll remember forever. Thank you Breckenridge Bears!
