Lovely place to stay in Amish country! Clean, very quiet. Has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful getaway. Really wish we could stay longer. Priced very reasonable as well. You will not be disappointed.

To begin, please let me say that we are now terribly spoiled by the Briarwood. :) We have stayed in the "cabin" (it's really more of a luxe cottage) several times, during different seasons and for different lengths of time. All of our time spent has been there has been, well...enchanting. We think of it as our home away from home. Every comfort we would ask for has been thoughtfully provided. I have prepared a holiday meal here, we have celebrated two birthdays here, and made many wonderful memories. We have stayed in other properties in Amish country (when "our" cottage has been booked) and they have been nice...but not like this special place. We are booking this upcoming trip in the Hemlock, and know it will be just as fabulous as the Briarwood. The grounds are gorgeous, complete with some very friendly animals and a incredible view. The owners are available but totally unobtrusive. The area is perfect...close to some fun things to do, but in the country far enough out that you dont hear traffic. If you are looking to relax, recharge and make great memories, you simply could not select a better venue.

Absolutely beautiful! Very clean and well maintained. Has everything you need only had to bring our personal items. Kitchen is fully stocked with any thing you need to prepare your meals. Great shower with jets and the hot tub was amazing. The land around us is gorgeous and peaceful. Location is nice as well not much driving needed to get from one place or another. My husband and I called in last minute and they got everything ready by the time we arrived. Great service. Our only disappointment is that we choose to only stay one night but we are already planning a return visit!

We stayed in the Twilight cabin in July 2016. Please see my video on you tube. Search for "Twilight cabin Ohio amish". Our stay was good. We knew going in that the cabin was fairly close to where the owners live but didn't know it was that close! We heard every single time someone went into the driveway and/or down to the other cabins. Despite this the privacy and quietness was adequate. Other good points was that the kitchen was very well appointed with all the dishes we needed to prepare a meal. Don't forget to bring coffee filters! The bed was very comfortable. AC cools very well. Bathroom was very nice and water pressure adequate. All windows are case style and close very tightly and work smoothly. No bugs. Hot tub was very nice!! All towels, including a large beach type were provided. Lot of birds singing. Nice sunset. Couple of very nice dogs greeted us and one standoffish cat. Issues we had that other people might not find bothersome were the following: The propane grill was very nasty and in need of a good cleaning. To get to the propane grill you have to go through the bedroom. Not good if you are bringing food to/from the kitchen. Walking through the bedroom to the patio/deck is quirky. The wall at the end of the bed is slanted. You have to walk sideways or bent over around the bed. The couch is peeling for lack of a better word and needs replaced. We also felt the price for The Twilight was high. Knowing what we know now we should have chosen The Hemlock or The Briarwood in that order. They are both even more expensive but a lot more secluded. Make no mistake about it you are in the middle of Amish country at these cabins. Gravel roads and a lot of horse and buggies. There is some kind of major construction going on not to far away from the cabins but we heard no noise.
