If you don't get the burnt ends as soon as you walk in the door you're doing it all wrong. They're some of the best brisket I've ever had! They're fried green tomatoes and fried pickles are also good starters. As far as dishes go, whatever you order will blow your mind, DELICIOUS! Also, if you like whiskey this is the place for you, awesome selection. They serve beer and other cocktails as well but they definitely do a fantastic job with their whiskey selection.

Second time eating here. Glad we went back. 
The food is delicious and the staff are incredibly polite in our experience. The cocktail menu choices are great, but maybe limited given the amount of whiskey and liquor they keep on hand. The drinks they do serve, they do well. 
They not only have great barbecue but their fried fish was delicious with great southern sides to compliment every choice. 
Be ready for a crowd, and with it, a little noise. The rustic design has left the concrete floors and walls pretty bare which contributes to an overall louder experience. Great for families with small children who have random outbursts or people visiting with old college buddies who get overly excited at the idea of trying another local beer.

Very good service. John W. did his job very well. He provided accurate information on menu items, offered suggestions and was familiar with ingredients. Everything was fresh, prepared individually and appropriately hot. My wife had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken (boneless) and I had Shrimp & Grits. The food was well seasoned and very southern. Items on the menu were affordable and worth the price. We will return and recommend Brick City Southern Kitchen.

This place is in the square of the old downtown area of Ocala. Parking is on the street, so be prepared for a hunt. The restaurant has an industrial style with an extensive menu. The food is delicious and this is a high energy gathering place. The staff is knowledgeable,  efficient and friendly.  I'd eat here again.

The most delicious fried chicken sandwich. Everything was super good, big selection of hot sauces too. Our waitress was awesome, super friendly and helpful despite it being 11:00 at night! Can't wait to go back the next time in town.
