This was a really wonderful dining experience. The venue itself is charming and well appointed. The second floor seating area feels cozy and warm without being crowded. I enjoyed getting to look out into the rest of the restaurant and onto the night street. The staff was top notch, second only to the great food that was served. Each item I ate had real depth of flavor. The food tasted new and unique with creative flavor combinations, but was based on familiar cuisine. Oh, and the wine was perfect. The price was well very reasonable considering the high caliber of the meal. I don't make it St. Louis often, but next time I do, I'll stop in again.

Great hidden gem for lunch downtown. Any of their sandwiches are top notch and reasonably priced for the quality. Try the "Cuba, Missouri" take on a Cuban sandwich. At least 50 beers on tap; you can try 4 oz. samples of any for $1.50 to $2.50, or take a growler to go.

The menu was very interesting. Several options looked good. What I had was very tasty. Extensive beer and wine selection. Good place to hang out.

We were in town for the Haunt Show and got a little thirsty. The beer list is amazing. Unfortunately they were out of a few we wanted to try. We did the 4 oz. sampler for some beers we just can't get in our area. It was a little pricey but worth it to me anyway.

I have to give Bridge Tap House and Wine Bar 3 stars for one particular reason and that is because of the blonde/ dirty blonde, female host that was welcoming and seating guest on Saturday evening(Mar 25th 2017). My wife and I were visiting St. Louis for the weekend as a little get away. We had planned to have dinner at one place that evening but it was booked for a private event. After researching on Yelp we came across Bridge Tap House & Wine bar. My wife made a reservation for us on the yelp app which told us our table would be ready at 8:15pm and we arrived at 8:10pm. The female host told us that it would be another 20-25 minutes before a table would be ready and we were okay with that. We told the host we would wait out front of the restaurant as it was a bit warm inside. At 8:40pm we went back inside and tried to find out what the status of the table was. She told she will see what she can do as she had known we had been waiting for awhile. at 8:50pm we could clearly see that there were at least two tables upstairs that were free, but the host decided to seat a larger group of about 6-7 people before us, even though we arrived beforehand. At 8:55 while sitting at the bar, Johnny the bartender ask if we were ready to order, but I told him no that my wife and I were getting ready to leave as we had been waiting for a table for almost 45 minutes. Johnny said just to give him a minute, and within 45 seconds we were on our way to our seats at a table. I appreciate Johnny doing that for us even though that wasn't his job. Our waitress was great and the food was very good and came out to our table quickly, our main problem was just with the host that evening. Now I hope that maybe the host was having a bad night, or just forgot about us and it was not because of my wife and I being an interracial couple for the reason why we were not seated by her. Overall everything was great except the interaction with the host who was working that evening.
