Just six years after Daniel Brintlinger founded Brintlinger Funeral Home in 1883, the home had already earned a reputation for maintaining "the very latest paraphernalia incident to the rites of burial." From the beginning, we've been innovators. Five generations later, as Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, we continue that tradition of innovation, creating new ways to meet your needs, from custom funerals with special music and unique tributes to cremations with personalized urns and distinctive memorial services. Our staff are our true innovators, thinking of new ways for Brintlinger and Earl to provide you with service from the heart. Grief is an integral part of the healing process when a loved one dies, but this does not mean it is something you have to go through alone. Brintlinger and Earl believes deeply in that, in 1987, we established one of Decatur's first grief recovery programs. Since then, many other organizations have taken over those duties.
