Bought sushi and sashimi combo. Got this mutated piece of tuna sushi?? May be freezer burn but for $70, this isnt acceptable. Will never come back and posting this as a warning to others. I will consider my $70 wasted. Store owner or staff wasnt friendly either maybe because Im not korean? Or maybe because Im Chinese they gave me mutated fish??
I’m so happy to found out this sushi take out place . Everything I ordered including assorted sashimi over rice so far was fresh and delicious. But the sushi rice could’ve been less firm than it was tonight . Will continue try different dishes .
Good. Maybe coming back next time. I think I might need to compare it with H mart, but generally we had a good experience. They even gave us different types of Korean sauces including the hot chili sauce. Happy to have this place in USA.
Everything here was perfect. Sashimi was sooo fresh didn't have fishy smell at all. Spicy fish stew was amazing too all you had to do just put all the ingredient packaged in the pot. You didn't need any additional seasonings. Will definitely order from here again.
My mother-in-law said her co-workers were raving about this place and their sashimi rice kind of like a poke bowl so for dinner we went and bought 2 orders. My husband really likes sea squirt rice so we asked for 1 sashimi rice and 1 with sea squirt. I don't really like sea squirt because it's always very fishy in my opinion. This is not a dine in restaurant. There is a bench where you can wait. We went and got some beverages and our order was ready in about 15 minutes. They offer delivery for orders over $50. When we got home we had high expectations but found that the bowls were lacking in veggies and sea squirt. They did give a lot of fresh sashimi though. They also did not provide any sesame oil but my mother-in-law said her friends said they normally do. I hope this was just an oversight because sesame oil just elevates the dish to another level. It's ok since we had some at home. They provided rice and what appeared to be udon soup. They also provided some pickled veggies for the side. My husband plans on getting lunch there with his co-worker. I think 15 bucks is a really good deal for the sashimi rice. Sea squirt might be an acquired taste. The three of us ate and were full from two orders. We will visit again!
Straight up got SCAMMED by this place. I ordered almost $130 worth of sashimi and sushi, thinking that it would be enough for 3-4 people. The portion for the amount of money was absurd ! It was barely enough for two people. Do not give this place your business. They are nasty scammers.Food: 1/5
As an avid sushi and sashimi enthusiast, I can assure you that this is the best sushi place I have found in NJ so far. It is take-out only, something to keep in mind. So very well worth the hour-long round trip to this gem of a sushi place. . :
This newly opened sushi/sashimi place is our go-to takeout when we have guest over. We’ve ordered from this place at least 4x within the last two months and was never disappointed on the quality offered. Rolls are a bit expensive, but still good nonetheless. Only thing is, every time we order the mixed sashimi platter, the fish variety offered are always different. For example, one time, we ordered the mixed sashimi platter and got fatty tuna which I love. When we ordered the same platter again, we weren’t given the same fish as before.
A new-ish Sushi place steps up to the plate in Pal Park and in my opinion hits a home run coming out of the gate. This is my new go-to for sushi/sashimi platters now since other places I used to go to near Fort Lee and Palisades Park have dropped their fish quality while increasing their prices. I’m glad I gave it a chance and tried it out.
We ordered Sushi plate and Fish soup. It is not Sushi, it is Sashimi feeling Sushi ! thick cut Sushi, finally we found the right place to enjoy real Sushi.
