Story

At Broadlawns Medical Center, our staff of 80 physicians and over 1,000 employees is dedicated to providing high quality healthcare that is coordinated, compassionate, and cost-effective. Our approach has a specific name in the healthcare industry: Medical Home Care Delivery Model.

It’s a relatively new term, but it's not a new philosophy. Over the course of 90+ years, Broadlawns has developed a patient-centered culture that is comprehensive, team-based, coordinated, and focused on quality. This approach delivers positive results on many levels: better outcomes, happier and healthier patients, lower costs, and a place where physicians and employees choose to work.

Went to broadlawns mental Heath center for my appointment was running late and I tried to call office first before we left and no one answered then when we got there the front office was extremely rude and told us to reschedule and actually come early to make appointment the lady really hurt my feelings. I understand that it was my fault I was late but I hope next time i get treated better. If not I'll find another doctor. For being a mental Heath center you would think they would consider being nicer to patients

I have gone to Braodlawns Medical Center exclusively for at least 5 year's, probably more, I would recommend it to anyone. I trust and respect many caregivers there.

I am most disappointed at taking my daughter to the ER for her neck pain last evening(May 31st)...i used to work there and thought highly of the Physicians, especially Sean Johnson, DO. I asked the Nurse Vickie Lee, Whom I worked with at Mercy and the Lawn's if he could see her. Instead, another physician looked in on her. He barely examined her where the pain is and proceeded to prescribe a muscle relaxer, which did nothing but make her sleepy. She apparently has a pinched nerve and no X-ray's or pain medication were given or done for her. I felt like Sean ignored us and the other doc was rude. As a Nurse who is in Charge of a Free Clinic, where we send people to Broadlawns if they need care, we can't provide, I will think twice about it now. Our oldest daughter and my Husband have gotten good care in the past and so has the one I took there last evening. Either something has changed, or they were having a bad night, although it didn't seem the least bit busy, but I will no longer recommend Broadlawns for family or friends, with one exception, Dr. Shah is wonderful and sees my Husband for Dementia/Alzheimer's. Just called and the lady was soooo rude!! Yelled at me a few times, wouldn't let me finish talking. I never had such horrible customer service in my life. If I could give a zero I would!! Such a B! Don't waste your time with horrible people.

JULY 28,2017 THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AT THIS PLACE KICKED ME OUT OF MY BOYFRIENDS TRUCK. ALL BECAUSE WE WERE HAVING A DISAGREEMENT AND HE WANTED HIS TRUCK KEYS BACK. HE SAID NOTHING ABOUT NOT WANTING ME IN THE TRUCK AFTER I HELPED HIM PAY THE TRUCK OFF AND GET IT ALL FIXED. MY BFBDIDNT EVEN KNOW THAT THEY KICKED ME OUT OF THE TRUCK
