Let’s be honest, it’s not a five star hotel. BUT, for a traveler, we felt safe and the gal who checked us in was as friendly as it gets. It’s no frills, basic lodging. I’ve been in a lot of chain hotels that gave me the willys, but I’d stay here again for sure. Easy to find, easy to park (we were with a moving truck and trailer) and a quick walk to town to the bars. Room was also clean including all the corners.

Decent prices for what you get. Rooms were clean. Rooms haven't been renovated/update for decades.

I really enjoyed my stay here. A friend and I were traveling across country, and we were taking a little bit of a "shortcut" which landed us late at night in Broadus, MT. We arrived very late at night, and rang the bell and waited while a very nice young woman woke up and came to the door to register us. She, despite being half asleep, was very friendly and accommodating - a true feat in and of itself. The room was clean, and well taken care of. As other reviewers have stated, the rooms are dated, but I still found our room to be quite charming and comfortable. Other reviews also mentioned the need for some weather stripping - while it was relatively mild when I stayed there, the edges of the A/C unit did afford us a bit of a view to the outside. In all, this motel was a winner, and should I find myself in Broadus (or even relatively close by) I will stay here again. Oh, and the pink bathroom was awesome!!!

I arrived at 10:21 and the other hotel in town has sold out. Thus, this seems to be my only choice. The front office was closed and I rang the bell for service. The reception lady came to the door and opened the door but she didn't say anything to me and didn't even look at me, she turned around and went back to the desk. I stood at the door and asked" may I come in?" She said yes. I felt like a student talking to headmistress. Do I have a choice? It was late and I was very tired. She asked me several questions: how many beds? Smoking or non-smoking? 77.2 dollars. I paid cash. I went to my room. There was no "enjoy your stay and have a good sleep". The room was ok, but one of the doors had lost its safety bolt. The chairs are very dirty and has pet's dirtying prints and fur on it. I was extremely tired and went to sleep. I checked out at 7:30 and there was "open" sign on the office door and I knocked three times on the door and I heard dog's barking. The lady came from behind the desk and I said "Morning, Miss, I want to check out". I handed her the key and said " am I all set?". She said "yes". She didn't say anything during all our encounters. The dog was barking all the time. I am her senior and didn't feel like to have a quarrel with a young lady. But I felt humiliation here. Probably I should have driven another hour to a new town for lodging. I know most people don't really care when they greet you but still it feels good when your are wished " have a nice trip" or "enjoy your stay". I am a shallow person and I care about empty and shallow greetings and smiles, even if fake smiles.

Bed was a little uncomfortable, but definitely a nice place to lay your head. Price online stated $55, but real rate was $67. Not sure if it was eclipse related or not. Overall, I'd stay here again
