Rick, the owner, is incredibly helpful, friendly, and social. Lots of great books, got a new edition of 1984, had a friendly cat, definitely recommend. Ignore recommendation and you will regret.

Fun place, friendly people. I highly recommend stopping by. It is a great place to pick up work by local authors including John Nichols, the author of The Milagro Beanfield War.

I have lived in Taos 20 years and have always had excellent service at Brodsky's book store. Rick, the owner, is always a pleasure to work with.

I found the book "A Fragile Beauty" Foreword by Robert Redford at a thrift store in Albuquerque, NM yesterday afternoon. The cover is very worn, the price is cut off and it's marked #1 of 40. I am wondering if this is one of the "write a book/throw it away." The ironic thing is that a friend died recently; she is from Aspen, Colorado and still very young, but she loved Taos, NM and Robert Redford. Her desire is that her cremains be spread somewhere in Taos. Last night, as I was reviewing some of the pictures in the book, the one that really stood out was the evening sky at the Taos, Gorge. When I saw that picture, it came to mind that is where Denise's ashes must go. In any event, I am wondering if this particular copy is somehow "unique" as marked?
