Decided to check out this place for lunch and I wasn't disappointed, reasonable prices with a friendly and helpful old timer as the cashier. It's clean but small (I could touch the ceiling), and it's like going back in time once you're in there. They have a secret hot sauce that is not served unless you ask for it, and even then you have to say "really" 3x's and the "hot" once, it's the kind of sauce that is cooked and kept hot before serving, as it can't be served cold. I'll go back when they get a license to sell alcohol..

Great authentic Mexican food. Simple straight ahead food. Been going here for years, when I lived in the neighborhood. Now it's a fond place to stop in when I'm in the neighborhood again.
