Sol Y Luna is  solid option for classic Mexican food.  It is not a fancy restaurant but just high quality traditional dishes served in a great atmosphere.  I tried their Guacamole, Crevice, and House Specialty.  All of them were decent, good sized and reasonably priced.  I am looking forward to come back!

Ive been coming here for years and it's a great place to meet up with friends. Fun atmosphere. Live mariachi. Table side guacamole is always on point. They are always crowded on weekends so expect a wait. They have a bar to grab drinks while you wait but that area can get pretty crowded too. They also will not seat your table until the entire party is present. No reservations even for large parties. Only first come first serve. I went recently with a large group of 15 on a Friday night. We waited about 90 mins as we expected. The staff was accommodating and we had a good time. The food is about a 7/10. It's good but folks come more for the drinks and atmosphere. Parking is valet or street. I always find some metered street parking within a block. Meters are free after 8p.

This Mexican restaurant is awesome, great food pretty good service and an awesome atmosphere. Happy hour was great and the bill was so inexpensive I couldn't believe it. You should check this place out for sure.

Good food, good drinks, and friendly safe. The service is fairly quick even when they are busy and the restaurant is full. There can be a wait during dinner time but it is worth the wait. Definitely recommend stopping in for a margarita and guacamole.

The food was great! Had the chicken Tamales..they were awesome! Best salsa I've had in a long time! The best flavored rice I have ever eaten! Great attentive waitress.
