When I arrived for my appointment, I was told it was an hour before. I called the office multiple times during the day to confirm appointment as I had to go with my baby only to get answering machine (when I scheduled an appointment I was given a phone number and was asked to call) The only answer I got from the lady in the office about an unanswered phone, was that she had back to back appointments. Complete waste of my time. The lady in the leasing office was very unsympathetic. Maybe if I would be at least greeted with a simple hi, I would probably reschedule but she just sent a very bad vibe. Awful first impression.

I had recently posted a extremely horrible review and would like te retract what I previously posted. Lisa in our community office reached out to me immediately to follow up on my issues and I must say I am highly impressed. She let me voice my concerns and listened and was very informative of getting things addressed. I want to just say that I called in for a heat issue in my unit this past Tuesday and I'm beyond floored on how it was handled. Great maintenance guys ( Donnie and Frank are awesome guys! The new owners and workers are really trying hard to do the right things for us tenants! I highly recommend taking a look here if you are looking for somewhere to live. It's very quiet and great staff!

Never got security deposit back. They even violated the law and did not give us an itemized bill letting us know why we didn't get our deposit back. Never live here, ran by amateurs and people who will cause you a great disservice. EDIT: Would just like to add that regardless of their poor attempt at replying to call them, they still didn’t remember the issue and have not gotten back to us or rectified the issue after many phone calls back. While it may look good on social media that the owners “attempted” to make amends by saying to call their office, the reality is that it’s just a red herring. 100% do not move in here, ever.

Lived here for close to 4 years. Honestly, the old management was really slacking off towards the end when Laramar took over for them recently anyways. New management has been communicative by email, I think that's all you can really expect when a new company takes over. Old management is the reason you all are paying $60 just for trash every month. Overall the rates are ~$400 higher per month than they are at comparable buildings in the area -- for that extra $400, you get a nice parking lot, a premium maintenance crew, and fresh flowers planted outside of the building every 2 months for no reason. The rest of the apartment experience is what you would expect. Pretty inconvenient location as well, it takes 20 minutes just to get on the highway most weekdays. I think they set their prices for these apartments when there was a grocery store across the street and things just never came down when the place got bulldozed. Now you pay premium prices to live next to a 7-11 and a vacant lot. For someone who does not commute, has a dog, and thinks in-unit washer/dryer is a major plus, this is a reasonable choice of rentals.

If I could give Brook Run 0 stars, I would. Where do I even begin? Since new management took over, this place has slowly gone downhill. The maintenance takes 4-5 visits to fix one miniscule problem. Then they wear their dirty snow/salt covered boots in your apartment dirtying your rugs/floor. They guy lectured my husband for 10 minutes to not pour grease down the sink(you don't think we know8 that?) Turns out the drain was frozen not clogged in this -6 degree weather. Took 4 visits to figure that 1 out. I have no idea where they hired these maintenance workers but they do anything but maintain. Next we have been paying a fee for a garbage service we haven't used in nearly 2 years, believe it comes out to 60 a month. If new management wanted to please their customers they would do away with this ridiculous "service". I have left the property manager numerous messages. Never once returned my phone call. Communication is god awful! They just came out with "25 reserved parking spots" which 1 person in front of 4 buildings I can see uses. Oh btw it comes with a fee on top of the astronomical price your already paying for rent. We were already short on parking spots so this just makes a bad problem worse. For people like my husband and I who come home past your typical 9 to 5, we end up parking in visitor parking. So lovely in winter can't even start your car from the window it's just that far! Is it worth the extra money monthly? Hell no. I can tell them where to shove it. And managers response, " just because you park far, I can't be held accountable for everyone's safety when they leave their door." Btw they are breaching their contract bc it clearly says first come first serve when it comes to parking. Her response,"it doesn't say we can't do what were doing." We also have a lil scumbag wanna be gangster in our building who beats his girlfriend and plays his music till 6am blasting with bass and all, had cops called numerous times. Cops even had to breakdown his door. Does management do anything about it? No. According to them I'm only the 3rd complaint. Shouldn't 1 be enough? Run far away from here. For the price your paying in rent and utilities(close to 2000 for 2 bedroom), you can get you and your family a nice little house and pay less in your mortgage. This place is NOT worth it at all. Once our lease is up, we will be running out of here! Oh wait did I mention our ant infestation? Nope totally forgot, all the ant repellent/traps paid for out of our own pocket! What a joke this place is!
