This used to be my go-to place in the summer, and everything on the menu was amazing until today. The French toast is totally different now. I ordered something else, but when I told them I didn't like it, they didn't seem to care or offer anything else. I ended up ordering fish and grits and got baked or grilled salmon and grits with cottage cheese, which was the nastiest thing I've ever had. I wasted money, and I wasn't pleased—it honestly tastes like they hired a new chef, and the food is bad. I will not be returning
Everything was great. Beautiful spot and ambiance. The server was very nice and attentive. The drinks were amazing and the food even more so. The swing in the back is a nice touch for cute photos. Had the lobster and grits and the lobster was perfectly cooked. Will definitely be returning.Food: 5/5
Came here yesterday for a birthday lunch. The place is beautiful, especially in the back. Drinks were OK, nothing special. we had the guva and passion fruit martini, and they both tasted the same. For appetizers, we had the oxtail mac n cheese, which was very delicious! I wish I ordered seconds instead of our main dish because that was a disappointment. I had the surf and turf with red velvet waffles. The shrimps were great! Everything else was horrible, in my opinion. So qll I ate was the shrimp for $35. It's definitely not worth it! For desert I got a slice of vanilla cake which was really moist and good! I would define a visit again. But I would definitely not order surf and turf waffle again.
This place is very cute. The staff was nice and welcoming, our waiter was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The DJ was great and the music is not too loud. The drinks were delicious and well presented. But I am here for the FOOD and it was terrible. First the appetizers took about 40 minutes to come out because the kitchen was backed up. They ended up giving us some chips and pico de gallo because we were literally starving. That being said we were hungry and we had been drinking so any decent food they would have brought out to us we would have devoured. But the food was so bad we got the chicken wings the empanadas and the mac and cheese for apps. We could not finish one single dish and there was three of us because they were all barely edible. The grits have to be the worst thing on this menu they tasted like what I would imagine paper mache to taste like. I got the steak and eggs it was bad my eggs were burnt. The only entree that was decent was the chicken and french toast I would give that a 6 out of 10.
The food is just not good. Chicken perfectly fried no flavor no seasoning. Red Velvet waffles overly cooked and dry. No cream cheese frosting? The mac and cheese tastes like lasagna … this place would be better if the food was actually good. Will not return.Food: 1/5
Such a good time! Pretty drinks, food tastes amazing!! Great music and vibe. Not too loud so you can still talk and eat. Went to brunch with no reservation around 11:45am on a Saturday. No issues getting a table for 2. Glad we went when we did, packed entrance when we were leaving but we beat the crowd. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Only leaving a review because the manager looking guy there this past Sunday made our experience much better and was very generous since the service was a little eh. I got the French Toast & Chicken. I was glad this was an option, and it was good, however, I was expecting better presentation…Food: 5/5
I took my mom for brunch. We went at a good time, Wed around 3pm. That was a great time of day. The food was very good! My mom had the shrimp and grits. I had oxtail and mac and cheese. The only thing is the wings were a tad dry but other than that, they were good. You can order extra sauce for the wings. The oxtails and mac and cheese and the grits and seafood were superb! Seasoned and made well. We sat outside, and the music wasn’t too loud and the seating was good. I would definitely recommend this place. And if you drink, the Happy hour is for 11 am - 7 pm Mon thru Fri. My mom is in a wheelchair and they served us outside which they don’t normally do, so I thought that was really considerate. We had a great time! We will be back.
The food was great. The oxtail pasta is great omg. But at night in the back it’s really dark. They should allow some kind of light for the elderly. Nice music as well. However, they dont read the details on reservations because I wrote that we were there to celebrate TWO birthdays and we still had to tell them at the end.Recommended dishesEmpanadas, Oxtail Mac and Cheese
The music, the atmosphere, the employees and management make this place quite enjoyable. I would definitely return again for these reasons. I wasn’t incredibly impressed with some of the food. The vegan pasta was okay for what it’s worth. The Mac and cheese was my least favorite Mac and cheese ever?. The wings looked a bit dry. The rum punch was good but REALLY strong. The fried fish was probably my favorite part of our meal with the sauce!!!!. 4.85/5 stars for me Dietary restrictions: Some options for vegetarians and pescatarians but the focal meals are better for meat eaters
