This store is weak at best. Poor selection, almost always is missing 3/4 of the things I wanted, and rarely the brands or specifics I'm looking for. Everything is more expensive, and less choices. Pharmacy staff are very helpful. The only upside. Worst of all is the prepared foods area where they've allocated 2,000 sf or more space? Plus all the indoor/outdoor seating and dining areas that rely on the prepared foods area. * Never any leadership, just someone working the griddle/fryers, and someone working the register, hot food trays. They don't talk to each other, other than saying sheepishly afraid to say anything, "hey, we're out of chicken, are you making any more?" Response - caustic look and a head nod, like "of course I am". Response to customer, "they're making more, it's going to be about 20 minutes I'd guess". * We tried to use their seating areas. One time there were 4 of us to try it out. We ordered a combination of things already prepped like chicken and potatoes, and things that needed to be prepped like burgers. So what do they do? They hand those of us who've ordered "already prepared food" their food, so they have their food before the remainder of the party, like burgers, have even had their patties put on the griddle. * Another time we went for the Saturday gourmet burger night. There were no less than 3 signs in the store mentioning the Saturday gourmet burger night. But when we asked at the food area, and again at the bar window, and again at the bar, nobody knew what we were talking about, had never heard of a gourmet burger or night. We directed them to the nearest sign, and they were at a loss, had no idea what to do about it. * Their prepared food is often very unappealing sitting there looking very old and nasty in the trays, even in the middle of dinner hours. The selections are questionable. When looking for a vegetable to round out a meal for my elderly parents, I find their vegetable sometimes is only some diced carrots sitting in some nasty brown congealing liquid. Carrots? That's their best shot at rounding out a meal with a vegetable? Or other times we find mashed potatoes and no gravy, or sometimes gravy and no mashed potatoes. Usually at dinner as they're struggling to keep edible food in this area, there's only one person at the register, and one person on the cook tops, completely understaffed and absent any leadership to keep their dizzying attempt at an array of food fresh in trays or stocked in otherwise crusty empty or near empty trays. * Down the counter is their baked goods / desserts. I've never seen anyone down at that end of the counter staffing it. I've stood there by the cupcakes for extended periods of time and nobody would come down to help me. After many visits, I've noticed that the food in the dessert area looks like its the same selection that has not turned over for long periods of time, so customers like me wonder have they been there for 3 hours, 3 days, or 3 weeks. I'm betting on the latter, that's what it looks like. * They advertise live music on the weekends, but on our most recent visit, it was a single guitarist who may as well have been my brother in law strumming and singing some tunes. I wouldn't characterize that as live music, though I'm sure there was a pulse on the solo performer, though not so much in the limited audience. Seriously, this place is wasting thousands of square feet on a very poorly managed and executed food service area. Instead they should allocate it to actually providing more variety of expected grocery products that they currently do not. Why they're trying to be a buffet at the same time they're failing as a grocery store (really failing at both)... I can't imagine. I only go there as a last resort anymore with a short list. Strategy and leadership badly needed.

Convenient and close to the resort, found everything we needed from food, toiletries and household cleaning items.
