Incredible restaurant and it's had some major expansion and facelifts since I visited a decade or so ago.  Huge food portions.  You will not leave hungry.  Service is fast and friendly.   It's right near the Mississippi River and there's a nice riverfront access there.  The whole downtown is a neat area.

Never really had Cajun, from a southern area. I tried Gator tails because I'm adventourous eater. I must say it is something like chicken. Not terrible at all! Trying the other items soon! Very nice atmosphere and not pricey! Good place to try!

Good atmosphere, good service.  I was hoping for some really good jambalaya and red beans and rice.  I was not disappointed.  In old town right near the river front.  I hope to return some day.

I would have given it 3.5 stars if that were possible.  The food didn't stand up the the other reviews we read but the service was good.  The steamed shrimp appetizer was good but the shrimp were really small.  The shrimp etouffee was good and the fried platter was ok but nothing spectacular.  They need more of a wine list as opposed to just a house white wine and the right sized wine glasses for me to give them 4 stars.  Our salads came out right on top of our appetizer and the entrees came out before we were even half way finished with our salads.  We might come back and might not.
