You hear statistics often about medical professionals ignoring black women's pain and black women dying at childbirth at a rate 3 X higher than their white counterparts yet it's not until you visit clinics like this that you understand why. M first and only visit was a 3 hour wait only to have the doctor brush off all my concerns and the nurse saunter into the room to deride me for even daring to voice concerns about my own pregnancy. They lacked the most basic equipment to even qualify to address maternal health and, at 5pm (I'd been in the office waiting since 2:30) they informed me that the lab tech was gone for the day as if they were surprised to realize I'd need blood work! Perhaps as consolation for wasting my entire afternoon, the doctor gave me a prescription for the same prenatals that you can buy over the counter. It was amatuer hour at best and negligent at worst. Broward Country should do better.

First of all I scheduled an appointment for the 8th of this month and around 7 something that’s when I receive a phone call letting me know that I have to reschedule my appointment that is so unprofessional because you can’t call someone at this time at night to reschedule appointments. So my appointment was rescheduled for today. I came here for a 10:45 appointment its like they don’t even know what they are doing there’s a long wait seriously this kind of service for a community center does not make any sense. What’s the point of sedulling an appointment if it’s going to take forever to even see a Dr. I just wish I can rate my experience to 0 because this is nonsense 🙄🙄🙄🙄 just don’t go there if my husband didn’t stay up here which I had to leave miami Dade county to come live in Broward County I would of been able to get serve the right way because miami Dade county community centers are way better and faster at serving people specially when there’s an appointment scheduled.

Went in for heavy menstrual bleeding I let the doctor know what had worked previously and what didn't she completely ignored my suggestions and went ahead and prescribed a medication that I let her know did not work. She did not take into consideration my medical history and what form of treatment I preferred. She had made up her mind before she even entered the room with her computer on her hip she didn't introduce her self she was the woman with dreads I didn't even get her damn name! Wont be returning as a patient i dont feel like i was involved in my own care she just wanted to prescribe me hormones and told me com back in two weeks. As a doctor she was going through the motions, she gets paid whether i feel better or not. So who gives af right?

This place has a great staff. They even called to check up on me to see how I'm doing and if I went to the hospital when I needed to be there. Who does that? People who care, that's who. I love this place.

Verrry long wait time, doesn't even make sense to schedule an appointment because you will not be seen anywhere near that time. I brought my mother to get get her lab results and we were waiting more than two hours for the doctor.
