This is one of the most amazing parks I've ever been to! We spent a long weekend in a rustic cabin and absolutely loved it! The lodge is gorgeous and we made great use of the firepit behind it. The nature center was informative and fun, and we participated in an activity (making tea from native plants) and then sipped it while looking over the stunning misty mountains. We took the walking trails and played on the playgrounds. It was an unforgettable experience and I cannot wait to go back!

This park is gorgeous. Really nice places to stay but if you just want to come and hike or look around it is so expensive. My mom and I went to go check out the Lodge here to see if it would be a good place to stay with our extended family, and we thought we could just go in and give it a quick look, so we pulled into the park and the guy stopped us. He asked are you instate or out of state and since we are out of state we had to pay $9!! TO SEE A PARK! it's ridiculous. We made a promise we would check it out so we paid it but not with a smile. So just a warning, even if you are going just to look at the nature, be prepared to pay either $7 if you are from indiana or $9 if you are out of state. I hope this helps someone in the future.

Extremely scenic park! The trails are well-made and there are plenty of them. We just walked through the Lake Ogle trails and the views we're really solid. The map and signs are easy to read and there are plenty of spots to sit and take in the sights. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful scenery surrounding outstanding Abe Martin Lodge. Plenty of hiking, biking, camping and horseback riding. The lodge has delicious dining and great indoor water park for the whole family. Rent a room in the lodge or try a family cabin, new family suite or quaint rustic cabin.

A HUGE State Park that is so BEAUTIFUL! We love coming here to drive through, hike, bird watch, picnic, and/Or stay at the Inn! This park is a huge asset to Indiana! The Nature center is a Great place to visit for adults and kids! There are plenty of hands on and trivia for the kids. Plus a lot of nice exhibits to look at. The hiking is wonderful! We like to hike around the 2 lakes. It's not too long of a hike and always beautiful. We always see some form of wildlife, from deer, squirrels, raccoons to turtles and fish. We drive 3 hours one way and have a great day before heading home. It's worth the trip!
