I spent many months throughout 2017 working with Sharon to design my ring. I was using gems that have been in my family for generations, so I wanted everything to be perfect. Let's just say, I definitely changed my mind more than once during the design process! Sharon was incredibly patient and supportive throughout the time we worked together. She never made me feel rushed or bothersome, which was so appreciated. She was also very open and transparent with me about costs all along the way...I never felt like I needed to worry about being pressured or "sweet talked" into making choices that didn't feel 100% right to me. The end result was absolutely stunning. I get compliments every time I wear my ring, and I feel so proud of the personal work and attention I was able to put into it. Sharon and her colleagues at Brown Goldsmiths are fantastic and I will most definitely be returning to them again and again for my jewelry shopping!

I worked with Sue at Brown Goldsmiths to turn my grandmothers wedding ring into a pendant for my mom.  This was a project very near and dear to my mom.  Sue worked with me to create such a beautiful piece, she had such a great vision of the finished project.  I was so pleased with the outcome and experience!  I would 100% recommend Brown Goldsmiths!

After going to all of the local Portland jewelers I couldn't find the ring I was looking for. On a recommendation from a friend I stopped by Brown Goldsmiths and met with Shannon and Sharon. After some discussion on  what I was looking for, a few 3D renderings, and a couple more visits to the shop, my custom-made engagement ring came to life. She said YES and the two of us can't keep our eyes off the ring. It's perfect, and so was my experience with Sharon and the rest of the staff. I can't recommend them enough, you have to stop in!

I had many pieces of vintage jewelry given to me by my mother which I needed "reinvented' into pieces that both myself and granddaughter could have as a gift from her.  They were able to "create" the most beautiful matching pendants.....beyond my most wildest expectation!! Their goldsmith is "beyond" talented.  I had bought a pair of earrings there (gift from my husband) and requested matching pendant and bracelet.  Once again ....more than satisfied...simply lovely and indescribably unique!
 
Their salesperson Sharon has become not only become our "go to" person when we visit the store, but has become our friend.
How lucky we are to have found Brown Goldsmiths!!

We had a truly fantastic experience working with Brown Goldsmiths. We wanted to get our wedding bands from a local jeweler, and Brown’s reputation is so good, they were the obvious choice. And that reputation is well-deserved. We instantly felt welcomed, and developed a nice relationship with Sharon, who helped us immensely. We had some rather complicated requests (since we actually live in Canada, but were getting married in Portland). But they were very accommodating with working with us to make everything go smoothly. And we absolutely love our rings! My ring is a really beautiful diamond-studded band with an intricate filigree pattern along the back, which is stunning. My husband’s band has a special profile that makes it incredibly comfortable to wear. But more importantly, we felt like we really connected with the people at Brown. Our customer experience was incredible, and they’ve gained customers for life.
