After one repair visit I can tell Brown's is a true old school family business. The repair price was more than reasonable, quality, and fast turnaround. There should be more local businesses like Brown's. We'll see what Im saying once amazon starts repairing jewellery..

Mr. Brown is the last of a dying breed of business owners. Not only does he offer fair prices but he is going to provide you with honest service. I inherited my Great Great Grandmother's engagement ring and needed to have the prongs reset. He created a new, modern setting for the stone, and brought my vision to life. My ring is just perfect. We also bought our wedding bands from Brown's Jewelry & Gift Store. The price was better than other big name stores in the Frederick/Thurmont area. If you need repairs on any watch or piece of jewelry, go see John Brown. You will NOT get service like this anywhere else. I recommend him to all of my friends and family!

Mr Brown, John has been my Jeweler for over thirty years. Has made several original pieces for me including Alexandrite ring & earrings. After my wife passed away & I moved to Chattanooga, TN., John made a custom in
wedding ring for my new wife to match her engagement ring, truly beautiful & in platinum.
