My family has used this funeral home since they opened. I have never experienced anything other than kindness and compassion. Staff have gone out of their way to help me through the process wether it was a full burial or a simple cremation. I've always been treated as each situation was just as important as the other.

I could not imagine a better experience in such a difficult time. The level of caring and professionalism shown to us by Mike and the rest of the family at Brownlie-Maxwell was second to none, I could not recommended them enough.

This place is uncompassionate and all about the money. My mother had insurance but it would take approximately 3 to 4 months before they were able to get their money. They were unwilling to wait and therefore, wanted me to "pay $8,500 for her funeral or go ahead and have her cremated". Those were the funeral directors words. Thankfully, I found another Funeral Home, who was willing to wait for my mother's insurance and understood that not everybody has $8,500 to spend. Not only that, I didn't even get condolences from the funeral home. Worst experience ever especially at the worst time of your life.
