We visited last Sunday and enjoyed greatly the 7 fish theme dinner. We have been fortunate to receive the top notch service for the last 13 years. Uni pasta was excellent, cod steak was thick and tender. $80 for the superb fish course menu is a bargain. Thank you, Joe.

I had heard about the extraordinary pasta at this place so I needed to find out for myself. The place is nice and the bar is rather large. However, the food is nothing great - especially the over-rated pasta! I later found out that Joe the owner, is the same obnoxious owner of the old Pasta Nostra where the customer comes last - it's his way or leave....Amazing that this place gets any diners at all after reading all the reviews on Yelp and Google! Rebuttal to Joe: I hope folks take the time to read all your comments back to the reviewers that are dissatisfied by you and your service! It really shows your true obnoxious attitude to your customers! I am amazed by all the time you spend defending yourself rather than take the criticism and learn you go on attack! Nice, very nice!

We came in with a party of six and started off with appetizers both cold and hot, which were quite pleasant. Among a few of the appetizers were roasted peppers and mozzarella, grilled calamari paired with guacamole and eggplant sandwiches all of which were quite tasty. However we were quite disappointed with the arancini as I had just returned from Sicily where I enjoyed them on the street corners more than I did at Bruculino. Chef Bruno is known for his pasta dishes, so of course we tried numerous such as linguine and clams. I can sum this dish up only as linguine and sand, It tasted like I was chewing half of compo beach. The gnocchi were covered with a barely edible brown sauce that didn’t do much but deter our appetites. The fettuccine with pesto and tomato’s were bland and over cooked. The red snapper, lamb chops and veal cutlets were fairly tasty but yet did nothing to inspire. The wine list is extensive but the Italian wines are incredibly overpriced. Stay with the less expensive wines or order cocktails. Something to note also is that Chef Bruno makes a point to say on the menu that it is not a recipe. However ingredients such as bacon or pine nuts should not be a surprise when a customer orders a dish; just because Chef Bruno decides it’s not necessary to list Main ingredients shouldn’t be an excuse.

Dined at your restaurant recently only be faced with lack luster service, an obnoxious owner and very mediocre pasta. Honestly could’ve made a comparable dish with some Barilla Pasta I have at home. OK at best. In Response to the owner- I actually was not that customer and I will retract my claim about the Barilla pasta. The miserable excuse for pasta you serve could only rival stop and shop name brand. Second Follow Up to the owner- It seems your response mysteriously changed from calling me a creep that isn’t welcome at your restaurant to one which addresses me as “cap”. It’s very clear to me that I’m dealing with an egotistical narcissist who lacks the capacity for criticism.

Yet another superb meal last night. The food is very flavorful, exciting and yet most dishes are clean and quite light. I like to eat at least 3 dishes and here you can fully enjoy them and leave fully satiated yet not bloated.
