I've known Bruegger's Bagels has been in the area for the better part of three decades. I remember when there was a bit of a shift in the breakfast ecosystem of Bettendorf and Davenport around the early 90s when donut shops started disappearing in favor of bagel joints. Bruegger's emerged around that time, but I was never keen, as I was an ignorant child who did not yet enjoy any savory breakfast foods beyond bacon. Well, this morning was the day to end that sad trend, as I craved a bacon and egg sandwich - and a bagel might as well be the bread!  The interior or Bruegger's is nothing special. It's particularly clean at the moment, as they seem to be one of the last places anywhere to reopen their dining room. I asked the gentleman at the register about it - he attributed this to decisions made at the corporate level. Something about how their sales haven't suffered by not reopening at this point. I don't blame them - given the preference, I like it when a few less people are around my work.  It took me a little while to figure out my order, but I settled on a rosemary olive oil bagel with bacon and a single egg. I can't say there was much special about it, but it definitely hit the spot. The bagel was nice and dense with a hint of the rosemary in its name,  the bacon was, well, bacon, and the egg was properly prepared and tasted good, as well. Definitely a breakfast sandwich I'd come back for again.  And come back again I should. I find it unfortunate the Bruegger's is in the opposite direction down Middle Road as my place of employment - maybe I'll be able to stop by on the weekend sometime for a breakfast sandwich? I can hope, right? We'll see, I guess. Thanks Bruegger's!

Just went here today with my husband. We come here when we are in the area! The bagels are always top notch! I love how the bagels are coated in their toppings like the everything bagel. The cream cheese is always on point and I love the variety! Brueggers just has a quality of food then some surrounding bagel places. The service we experienced was also good. We will continue to visit this place in the future. I hope their recipes never change!

Have been coming to Bruegger’s Bagels  for years. Honey Wheat bagel with honey walnut cream cheese.  Staff is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I’ve always enjoyed watching the bagel making process through the window.

We used to love Bruggers bagels but this location as others have mentioned has horrible customer service, most employees with the exception of a few are just very rude. We still went somewhat often because we loved the bagels and the soup but I recently found out they don’t sell soup anymore, I think it’s just this location and it’s upsetting because now it’s not worth going anymore to get rude service and not be able to get soup on top of that. Last time we went you still couldn’t eat inside even though everything else is, honestly by the way the employees act at this location it just seems like they don’t want to work there.

For premium bagels they was very dry. ..got two different ones both nasty......grocery store bagels r so much better.....if going to stop just drive on by....originally rated lower however big brother rejected it till I raised it to 3 ...don't do it

I go there 2-3 times a week. Gave 3 stars cause the food is great most of the employees cordial and great.  The bad.   I am done coming there.   I have never had a good experience with one of the employees and unfortunately today she was the cashier.    Pink hair.     No Eye contact.  She acted as though I was interrupting her from her chips and drink.   No hello. No thank you. No good morning,  no eye contact.    If that is the perception you want of your business great but there are plenty of places to get a breakfast sandwich.

Was super excited to try this place. Ordering was pretty chaotic for a first timer. The check out process is dumb, why am I repeating my order again? I could've made up anything. The check out guy was so rude and clearly annoyed he had to make a cold brew. He practically threw my boyfriends change at him and the floor was so dirty and gross, we left it. Overall, food was subpar for the price, staff wasn't great and I won't be back. Yikes.

Food is amazing highly recommend.

I wished I could give 0 stars. I was so excited to eat a bagel at this place, however we ended up finding the worst customer service and a below average food. Ordering was very uncomfortable the guy just stood there in dile when he clearly could see it was out first time. The guy checking us out was rude and the store also looked dirty. We will never be back. If you want a bagel go to another place!!
