Our central air conditioning unit malfunctioned while we were on vacation: we returned to a house that was 80 degrees despite a setting of 72 degrees on the thermostat. I checked circuit breakers for the AC unit - everything appeared OK, yet the system was not blowing cold air. We called Bruni & Campisi and a truck was at our door within an hour. The technician (Malik Marji) was polite, quickly diagnosed the problem, and repaired the unit: within two hours of our call to the company the defective part was replaced and the system was blowing cold air again. The level of service provided was exceptional.

I had a leak in the basement. B&C misdiagnosed as a water heater leaking. Shut down the water heater, but the leak still going. The same inexperienced plumber came back and decided this time it was the french drain, but does not do french drain. I called a french drain specialist who did the proper tests and said it was not the french drain, but simply did the proper tests and found it was only a an Air conditioning pipe leak, which he fixed. B&C ignore my phone calls for a refund. Expensive and incompetent!

I recently contacted Bruni and Campisi to provide service at my elderly mother's home in Scarsdale. I was skeptical considering these reviews but we actually had a nice experience. The technician, Joe, came out the same day we made the call to service a gas furnace. He performed a thorough examination of our equipment and explained our issues in detail. Although the price was a bit higher, I felt as though we got what we paid for. I would recommend and will use them again.

I have mixed feelings about Bruni and Campsi. I will give them 5 stars in their response to my urgent situation because my oil burner went out in the middle of the winter. They were excellent in assisting to help get ,me converted to gas within 7 days in the middle of winter. However my home has not been warm since the installation of the boiler and although they come every time I call they have not been able to resolve the issue. In fact every time I call and complain they seem to become more and more agitated like I have done something to them. In fact, at one point I had to complain to the head of the company. Over the summer I did major work to insulate and close up the walls in the basement as they recommended and still insufficent heat.....After paying almost 20k for new boiler, chimney lining and a couple other things I am feeling completely frustrated! Not sure I would recommend them to anyone!
