If your looking for a local bar and a place to grab food with family and friends, the Grove is perfect. This is not a place you should go if you’re looking for craft cocktails and 5 star service. I guess because I’m a local he Grove holds a special place for me. While I’ve always thought the food was good, the service at times can leave something to be desired. It’s also not always easy to bring groups here if you’re planning on sitting for dinner since the seating areas are two alcoves as opposed to one large room.

It used to be an awesome place and I loved going there. Both the food and service was great. Loved the owners!! Since the brothers took over full time for their parents, I hadn't been there until yesterday. Unfortunately, the food is not as good anymore and the kitchen is not as fast as it always has been. Our nachos came out 20-25 minutes later from when we ordered and the main course 5 minutes later. Apparently now you are not able to get 2 different kind of wings if you only order 10 as I always have before and the chips for the nachos were terrible. My favorite part of the meal was the popcorn. I don't recommend going to The Grove anymore. I do recommend their parents' new restaurant in New Brunswick, Tumulty's Pub, which they bought and reopened. Mr. and Mrs. Weber are great people and they greet you with a smile! A+ Unfortunately, their boys didn't inherit the same warmth needed to run a restaurant. D-
